Oh my! This was soooo good. I've never made lasagna but the recipe was easy to follow and it turned out great! I did add crushed garlic to the meat and onion but that was the only change. It's going right in my recipe box and I can't wait to make it for guests!

This is a great recipe for lasagna. I've made it several times and everybody loves it! The flavors are delicious. It is really good as leftovers too.

Made it for the first time last night for a dinner party. Added a layer of spinach on top of the sauce, and used fresh mozarella for the top layer instead of shredded. Turned out fabulous!Will definitely replace my old lasagna recipe with this one.

Not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. The boyfriend loved it. I made it exactly as stated (except no oregano). I used twice the amount of crushed tomatoes though, simple because after the sauce simmered down it was just a meat/tomato paste and needed A LOT of moisture to make it spread over the noodles.

This is my staple lasagna recipe. The cottage cheese is what makes it so good, so don't follow other reviews and change to ricotta. I have never had a negative comment about it. Great job Linda!

I make this recipe every couple of months as a treat for my boyfriend or whoever might be coming over. It's delicious! In a pinch don't worry about using the pre-cooked lasagna noodles, they work fine in this recipe. I always add a few cloves of fresh garlic to the meat though and replace the cottage cheese with ricotta. I also add dried thyme to the ricotta/egg mix to give it some extra flavor. It always comes out fantastic and friends and family think I have some secret family recipe up my sleeve

This lasagna recipe turned out great for my first time. It was a little salty for me so I would suggest to those who are watching their salt intake to use the "No Salt Added" tomato paste and control the amount of salt you add in from there.
