oh my goodness!!! really great! I made some changes though.... used 6 limes(about 3 medium sized and 3 smaller), and alittle less than 1/2 cup sugar. I like mine tart. Turned out just like I wanted it to! I hate to drink water and now I found something I can do to use limes!! Thanks!

For my taste, it needed two more limes!

I halved the recipe because I didn't know if I'd like it and used 2 limes, 1/3 C sugar and 4 C water. It was really good, not too sweet and very crisp and refreshing. I wouldn't care for it if it was any stronger and I prefer this over lemonade.

This recipe was a little weak so I played around with it: instead, use a lemon-lime seltzer water and lime zest for boosted flavor. Refreshing.

This recipe turned out okay but I wish that instead of listing a number of limes, the author had mentioned a measurement of lime juice. I used about 20 small limes and it was too weak. I recommend using half the amount of water and then tasting it to see if more is needed.

Perfect, made with 2/3 cup Splenda rather than sugar. I think maybe some people don't realize that all limes are different, you may have to adjust the sweetner or add more water. This is just GREAT. My 12 year old made this for us!

Those who think this makes a "weak" limeade are probably not using juicy limes. Sweet, refreshing, perfect!

Not a great recipe. I ended up using 6 big juicy limes to one cup sugar for 2 quarts of water. It just really depends on the juiciness of the fruit. If this had an exact measured amount of lime juice it would come out perfect every time. But it's not that hard to make limeade, just taste as you go along, it'll be great!

Way too weak. We used the same amount of sugar and 15 limes for 2 quarts of water, and it was good.

Far too weak! Should be named Water with a faint relation to limes.

Very subtle with a clean taste, if that makes sense. Yes, I know it's not a wine =) My next batch I used Splenda and doubled the limes, that was more to my liking, a little more tart.

Made this exactly to recipe. I'm not a fan of limemade, so my husband pre-tested to make sure it was satisfactory. He said it was good, but a little sugary. It was gone by the end of lunch. Something that my mother-in-law and daughter did was add frozen mixed berries to their drinks and it looked nice, as well as a added a new flavor.

This is in fact a very REFRESHING beverage recipe. I used half sugar and half splenda granular and it turned out great. Perfect drink for a hot summer day or just after a workout. To garnish I froze pieces of flat leaf parsley in ice cube trays with water and added a couple to each glass. Great recipe light and refreshing not too sweet.

I did as someone else mentioned and used less water. To make a gallon, use 1 c. lime juice, 1 c. sugar and 1 gallon water. Could add cherry juice or Koolaid to add another flavor.
