I made this as a spur of the moment dessert for me and Hubs. It was the perfect dessert for a lot of reasons – it was late and I didn’t want something time-consuming, I wanted something nutritious (this sure satisfied THAT criteria!) and I wanted, ideally, to use the fair amount of fruit we have in the house. I was a little uncertain of the sour cream, but the honey sweetened it up nicely, and the lime made the dressing particularly refreshing and flavorful. We both enjoyed this creative change from a simple dollop of whipped cream.

We loved this! The dressing was creamy and refreshing--very different from your usual chilled fruit salad. I did not have two full cups of cantelope, so to make up another full cup, I added blueberries and Bing Cherries, as those were the fruits that were on sale this week. We ate all of it, nothing remains. I think this is going to be made a lot this summer.

Very nice, loved the dressing! I happened to have all of the fruit called for this time, so that's what I used - but I think this dressing would go well on just about any combination of fruit. Thanks!
