These are great! The kids usually eat all of the filling before I can even get to the pan.

This was my first fish taco and let me tell you, it was pretty darn tasty! At first, I was afraid the lime was going to be too overpowering, but after 1 or 2 bites, I was loving it. I used Sirrachi Sauce for the hot stuff and it gave the sauce the perfect "bite". To save calories, I sauteed onions and garlic in olive oil and lime juice, and chopped up some fresh spinach instead of lettuce. Delicious!

I have never been a fan of fish tacos, but my man is, so I decided to make them for us for dinner tonight using this recipe. I LOVED it!! It was sooo tasty and yummy. I highty recommend this recipe! The only variation that I did was that I marinated the fish for 2 hours in lime juice, fresh minced garlic and slices of white onion. I sauteed this garlic & onion in the skillet with more lime juice before placing the fish in to cook. This recipe will definitely be repeated often!

A really good start but for a more authentic recipe, I changed it to the following: 1. Add some cumin when cooking the fish. And you can decrease the butter to 2-3 tbs. 2. In the sauce add cumin as well as some dried onion and salt. 3. Chopped cilantro is a vital condiment which is an important companion for full flavor. 4. Replace lettuce with shredded cabbage I think these added ingredients give it a full flavor blast. My husband scarfed down four tacos. I also think this recipe is better suited to corn tortillas although if using lettuce, probably better with the flour tortillas.

These are great! I did double the sauce (but not the lime) and it was perfect for the tacos. Next time I will try it with some cilantro and maybe some guacamole! Even my 2 yr old twins gobbled them down.

These are excellent fish tacos. I used tilapia and sprinkled both white ground pepper and cayenne pepper on the fish in the skillet. I also served mine with cabbage and salsa, instead of lettuce and tomatoes. Super delicious :)

We've been looking for a new fish taco recipe and this is a winner! The sauce made the dish. We used more lime juice than called for and added fresh cilantro as a topping. I think any white fish can be used as a substitue, as well. We will definitely make this again!

We loved this recipe! My husband must have said so 5 times at least. I used tilapia since that's what I had. And after reading the reviews, I doubled the sauce and was glad I did. I made a black bean salsa to go on it as well as shredded lettuce/carrots.

Excellent! I did add a little chili powder to the fish and a little extra hot sauce to the sauce. I used white roughy and it turned out great. My husband loves fish tacos and he said this was definately a do over!!

This was a delicious recipe! I used soft corn tortillas and panko-crusted Tilapia, which I baked and then sliced in half. I added some zip to the lime sauce by adding dill, garlic and extra hot sauce.

Like many others I used talapia because it's what I had on hand. I didn't have hot sauce so I substituted a little bit if the 3C's (cunim, corriander & ceyenne)with fresh crached pepper. Pretty tasty and fast dinner option.

I used tilapia, added cumin to the seasonings, and topped it with a pineapple, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, & lime juice pico de gallo. For the sauce I used mexican creama and the chipolte tabasco sauce mixed together. Next time I will try the coleslaw mix instead of the lettuce. A great basic recipe in my opinion.

This recipe is wonderful. My husband loves the flavor and asks me to make this almost once a week. We use halibut as the fish usually and once I didn't have hot sauce so I used red pepper flakes instead. It turned out great and is now the standard way to spice it up in our house.

I was really happy to find a recipe that tasted this good without fried fish. An excellent quick meal - I served it with Mexican Rice and cooked apples. The only addition I made was a bit of snipped parsley in the sauce. If I had fresh cilantro, I would have used it. Orange Roughy is a good choice for these tacos.
