as is 4 stars, with some extra seasonings, 5 stars from us! I prepared the sauce and marinated the chicken in it for about 2 hours with the addition of cayenne pepper, cumin, and chili powder. I used them sparingly, so we could still taste the lime, but this gave it the bite we were looking for. we grilled the chicken and thinly sliced it sprinkling the tacos with cilantro in addition to traditional toppings. a very "fresh" take on tacos. thanks for sharing!

This chicken turned out really good! I did not use oregano. I did add cilantro and added some extra lime juice. Served it with homemade pico de gallo as well! My 2 & 5 year old are actually still out there eating this as I review it :o)

This chicken is AMAZING!! I substituted white vinegar for the red and added quite a bit more garlic and put it over a salad with verde salsa, monterrey cheese and tortilla strips...yum!

This was very good, the family loved the lime flavor. We also favor sour cream and added it to our condiment options. Very easy to make and will plan on making again for a quick supper. It was a great light, summer meal.

Very good easy week night dish. I didn't have red wine vinegar so I used balsamic. It was good, but I definitely think it would be better with the red wine.

4 out of 5 "as is" ... Missing something with a bit of spice. Added a teaspoon of chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon of Ancho Chili powder ... Now 5 out of 5!

This was great! I used to use chicken taco seasoning packets but hated how salty they were so I wanted to try a scratch marinade. This one was awesome. I followed other reviewer's suggestions and doubled the marinade (next time I will triple). I replaced oregano with cilantro, added splash of tequila. I used apple cider vinegar and it was good. I made the tacos nice and healthy by serving on whole wheat tortillas, topped with homemade guacamole (instead of sour cream), black beans, cheese and tomato. Also, I always make chicken tacos with canned chicken (all white meat-I stock up at Costco). I warm the canned chicken in skillet and dust with chili pepper. The chicken just shreds itself when mixed around wih the spatula. So easy and very good!

This was really good. Next time, I am going to marinate the chicken before cooking it (at least an hour or so) because the flavor wasn't strong enough. Thanks for sharing! :)

My family loved this recipe! I used the leftover chicken on a spinach salad the following day. The only change I made was to omit the oregano and green onion and used chopped fresh cilantro.
