Easy and Fabulously Delicious! This is always a hit for the holidays! I make it EVERY year and EVERY year it is a hit. It's not as hard as it looks, at first I was kind of skeptical in preparing because it looks a little complicated. Follow the recipe closely and it'll be fine.

the taste was 5 Star all the way.. but even after following all the suggestions for rolling, my cake still split, didn't roll very tight, etc. again though.. the taste was FABULOUS and far outweighed the looks! I'm sure it's all in my technique, and not the fault of the recipe.

I've made this for years and would highly recommend trying it! It's a family favorite and is requested throughout the year, instead of just around holiday time.

Oh boy, this recipe is awesome. I made 4 of these during the holidays. Two for my family and the others I gave to two other families. Everyone enjoyed. It is pretty easy to make. It is always one of the first desserts to go.

Mine didn't turn out so well. The roll part was too spongey and didn't roll well.

this recipe was good, but i have had a better recipe. i had trouble with the pumpkin sticking to the towel. maybe not enough powdered sugar? this recipe is tricky, so be wary! good taste, though!

This was an absolute hit. My whole family loves it. I have so far made it without the nuts. This is a relatively easy recipe. The jellyroll was easier than I had expected. Crowd pleaser and very tasty.

Instead of making a cake for my husband's birthday, I tried this Roll. He usually never likes pumpkin cakes but he loved this one and everyone had second helpings.

I lost my original recipe for Pumpkin Rolls and tried this one for a replacement. Good, but could use more spices. I will try doubling the spices next time I make it.

I'll give this five stars- after a few changes. I switch out half of the cloves for nutmeg and add another 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I use a larger size sheet pan with cooking spray on a piece of parchment. If you use the size jelly roll pan the recipe states, you won't have as many pretty layers of cake and filling as in the pictures. I leave off the nuts when baking- I found it gives a much moister texture without them. If you don't cook with the nuts on the cake, use LOTS of powdered sugar on the towel. After spreading the icing on the cake, I sprinkle with toasted pecans before rolling it up. I think the texture of walnuts is too hard for this light textured dessert- the toasted pecans give a more complex flavor and a better mouthfeel. With these changes, the pumpkin roll got rave reviews at our Christmas celebration. I have requests for it throughout the year!

This is always a favorite in my family. I have had bad experiences with the rolling of the cake, so i now cut into squares and stack it in layers. Still looks nice and still d-lish!!
