This is the classic and always great pumpkin pie from our childhood. Perfect recipe every time. Be sure to get the deep dish pie crusts as it makes a lot of filling. If there is too much filling for the crust, put it in a small pyrex dish and bake about half as long as the pie. It makes an excellent custard that the kids who don't like pie crust gobble up.

I have tried other pumpkin pie recipes, but I always come back to this one. I use a little less ginger than is called for because I feel like it can over power the pie, but other than that it's perfect.
