Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 (1 1/4 pound) Cornish game hens

Directions

  1. In an bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Place hens on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Tuck wings under hen. Spoon half of butter sauce over hens. Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until juices run clear and a meat thermometer reads 180 degrees F, basting occasionally with remaining sauce.
