Great, simple recipe that rendered a fabolous fish. Like others, I also added the garlic and lemon juice to the butter while heating it up on the stove; then drizzled it over the fish. My kids hate fish, but they ate this. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Just ok, nothing special. I used garlic powder. I baked at 400 for around 10 mins.

The fish had barely any flavor and I used the same amount of ingredients for four fish on the two fillets I had. Definitely will not use this again.

Very flavorful. I sauted it in a pan instead of cooking it in the oven and it was still fantastic.

I followed the recipe, but the fish was very bland. I may try it again, but use more of the lemon, butter,& garlic. I think that is soaked on through and out the fish as it baked. I may add it in the middle of the cooking time. I also didn't cook it 30 min. More like 10 and I like my fish a little more done than some.

I found this recipe to be a bit heavy on the lemon and garlic. I made it with the lemon as listed, but bumped the garlic to 2 cloves per some other review I'd read. It's too much. I also sauteed the garlic in the butter for a couple minutes before adding the lemon juice & parsley, then pouring it over the fish. I think halving the lemon & garlic would be more appropriate for the delicacy of a fish like tilapia - especially if you're using very thin filets like the ones I had (the ones that come in 4 oz portions vacuum sealed in plastic). I'll definitely try this again with less 'oompf'. I may have to find some other liquid to make up for the decreased lemon juice. Maybe white wine or water? Maybe use lemon zest instead of lemon juice? Hmmm...

I chose this recipe because it looked easy, healthy and I had all the ingredients on hand. Husband gave it 5 stars but I gave it 4. I think this is a good standard recipe, but I'll probably try another the next time I'm looking for wow factor.

Yum! This was so simple and very light and refreshing. I sauteed my garlic in the butter and then added the lemon juice and parsley to make sauce. I poured some of it over the fish before cooking and then drizzled the rest over this fish after I took it out of the oven. I cooked my fish at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and they came out perfect. This made a wonderful meal served with Roasted Potatoes with Greens (from this site).

Very yummy! I think I might increase the lemon and the garlic next time, as well as saute the garlic. But it's a great base recipe for a classic idea!

The flavor was good, but I followed the recipe exactly and it was over cooked at 30 minutes. Next time, I'll follow the review recommendations and go for 10-15 minutes, but still a good recipe!

This dish turned out fantastic! I took the suggestion of other reviewers and sauteed the garlic, butter and parsley before I drizzled it on the talapia. I also increased the amount of butter and garlic I used. I LIGHTLY seasoned both sides with salt, pepper, Old Bay seafood seasoning & paprika before adding the sauce. Baked for 15 minutes at 325 degrees. My husband raved about how it was the best fish I've ever made and it tasted like a restaurant-prepared dish. Served with fresh green beans and a vegetable lasagna. Thanks for the recipe. Will definately make again!

This tasted wonderful. My husband turned to me and said, "Honey, this is delicious fish" - and he can be a hard one to please. Even my 2 year old son ate his entire portion and asked for more "ish" I followed the suggestions of others and sauted the ingredients and then poured that over the fish. I cooked it for 20 min. at 375 degrees. This will now be part of our regular meal rotation.

This is a very light and fresh dish! I followed some of the other recommendations: sauteed the garlic in the butter before pouring over the fish, and only needed to bake it for 13 minutes. I also placed a slice of lemon over each filet. Very moist!
