Recommendation: bake this with asparagus, it gets even better! Just take raw asparagus, half each one lengthwise, and put them between and around the tilapia in the baking dish- making sure they are at least partially submerged in the sauce. They turn out juicy and delicious, and complement the tilapia well!

So good! I didnt measure my lemon, butter, and garlic, just winged it. Less lemon next time! But it was super good, especially with rice! We made short grain sushi type sticky rice to go with it - it was delicious and perfect! Cant wait to have again!

Hit with the kids and adults. Used Basa fillets instead of tilapia. Baked for approx 18-20 min, and the fillets were quite thick. Used more garlic. Excellent recipe. Can't wait to try it with other fish.

This had a great flavor. I did use more garlic but sauteed it first and used fresh parsley. I baked it at 400 for less time because the Tilapia fillets I had were very small and thin. Awesome, thanks for the recipe.

This is a very simple and good recipe, I wrapped the fish in foil and added bok choy, mushrooms and a couple of cherry tomatoes on top. I change the veggies to what ever I have at the time I cook the fish.

If you really love lemon/garlic fish this was wonderfu. Next time I will use less lemon. A bit too much even using juice of just one lemon for my taste. I did saute butter, lemon, garlic, parsley (and added one fresh chopped tomatoe and a dash of cajun spice). I sprayed baking pan with olive oil, placed the thin filets in pan, poured the saute over and baked uncovered. took 15 minutes only. I was worried it would dry out without foil or something but it was great. My husband loved it. He just mentioned it was a bit too much lemon for his taste. I will make this again and again I am sure

I actually, juiced 2 lemons and marinated the tilapia in the lemon juice for about 1 hour prior to cooking. I did take the advice of other reviewers and saute the butter, lemon, garlic, & parsley together prior to putting on the fish. I also added some lemon zest. I baked 4 filets for 12 minutes and they turned out perfect! My family loved it!!

This was a flavorful and tasty way to fix the same old fish. I had trouble with mine drying out a bit, as the cooking time was longer than i needed. I used all ingredients as stated, and it turned out yummy.

Nice simple recipe, but mine came out way overcooked. Next time I'll try baking it for half as long or even less.

I made this for dinner tonight and it was a big hit for everyone. I can't believe how easy it is to make and yet so delicious. I was glad that I read the reviews before cooking it because sauteing the butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice before pouring it to the fish made such a difference. I also added lemon rind to my butter mixture because I really like a lemony butter sauce. I love the sauce so much that I used the same pan to cook my peas. It gave my peas so much flavor and it brought the dish together. Perfect dinner for us.

It was okay. I found it to be a little bland and without much flavor. Unfortunately, I don't have much of a solution either. It's fish, so maybe it's just a fish thing.

I made this for my fiance and we both thought this was amazing! Neither one of us is a big fish lover, but the fish turned out so tasty. I omitted the parsley and used fresh dill instead which added a nice bit of flavor. I agree with previous posters about the cook time. I cooked it for 25 mins at 375 and the fatter side of the fillet was very juicy but the thin side was dry. Next time I will cut the cook time down.

I think I'll be making my tilapia this way quite often. I followed the basic recipe for 2 fillets but used 2 cloves of garlic instead of 1 (I love garlic), and used a previous reviewers suggestion to saute the garlic, lemon juice, and parsley in the butter before adding to the fish. I also added salt and pepper to the fish before drizzling on the butter/lemon juice/etc mix. Next time I think I will try adding 2 tbsp lemon juice instead of 3. Deeelicious.
