so at first when i saw this recipe i wasn't so sure, because of all the reviews of it being too sweet. But i went and made it anyway and it was an amazing choice! i don't eat chicken but i made it for my family and they LOVED it!! i make it all the time for them. the only change i made to the recipe was to add less sugar. GREAT recipe, thanks!

I found these to be "okay", I thought the curry was a little overwhelming; I would try them again for myself with less curry, but my bf did not care for them.

I would actually give this recipe about 4.5 stars. It was an excellent base but I made some adjustments. For the chicken, I would recommend frying it lightly on a pan over baking just because you get a crispier coating. For the sauce (because I don't like curry) I omitted the curry. I added the juice of 2.5 lemons and about 1/3 cup sugar. I also added 1 heaping tsp of corn/potato starch to cold water and added that to the sauce to thicken. I poured the sauce over the chicken and sprinkled toasted sesame seeds. It was superb and there were no leftovers to dream of.

I must say, I'm pretty baffled on this one considering all of the good reviews. I didn't like the sauce at all--I think it was the curry that threw it off for me. Nobody in the house could manage to eat it so we made a frozen pizza instead.

It was alright, but would have been better if the tenders had been fried and the sauce wasn't so sweet. I decreased the sugar as suggested in previous reviews, but it was still too sweet for my tastes.

This is one of our absolute favorites! The only changes I made were I left out the curry, used panko breadcrumbs and I served the lemon sauce on the side as a dip.

Delicious! I cut the sugar in the sauce down to 1/4 cup and it had just the right amount of sweet. I'm not a big curry fan so I used 1 tsp garlic powder and 1/2 tsp rosemary as suggested by another reviewer. It was excellent and even my very picky husband enjoyed it!

Anytime my wife goes back for seconds I know I have a keeper! What a nice blend of tastes to waken up the chicken. A good change of pace dish which is a breeze to make.

Yummy curry and lemon and sweetness...however, much too sweet for me. 1/3 a cup sugar would be just fine, maybe less. The strength of the lemon taste was great. I'll make this again with less sugar. It was really good.

Thank you for posting this recipe! I used it as a starting point. Instead of curry I put garlic and rosemary with the lemon, and we used it as a dipping sauce instead of adding it during cooking.

These chicken tenders were good. I used panko breadcrumbs and only 1/3 cup sugar based on other reviewers' comments about the sweetness of the sauce. It was plenty sweet with just the 1/3 cup sugar. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice, not the stuff in those yellow plastic containers. It makes all the difference in the world. The combination of lemon and curry was unique.

Flavor to the max!!! Excellent dish. My son and I loved this and had seconds, my husband didn't (but he doesn't like sweet chicken). I used hot madras (yellow) curry powder. I doubled this sauce and glad I did. I did cook the sauce about twice as long on the stovetop. Healthier too because it's oven baked. Thanks for a great recipe!

These were quite good, and quick and easy, too. I cut the sugar to 1 Tb and 1 tp. It made for a very tangy but delicious sauce. My husband liked it and suggested that I use a different spice (not curry) in the sauce next time for a change.

I really enjoyed this recipe. My husband really liked the chicken, but thought the sauce was too sweet. I will definatly make the recipe again, but I will be cutting down on the sugar and adding more curry. (We're huge curry fans.) My daughter ate the chicken which shocked me becuase she's been going through a stubborn streak about all food. We didn't even attempt the sauce. We will be making the chicken a lot, even without the sauce. Thanks for the recipe.

My family really liked this recipe. It was a little tart for me so I started adding 1/4 cup honey and we all like it better. I have made it almost once a week since trying. My 10-year old (very picky) ask for it when I ask what kind of chicken he wants for dinner.

The chicken was good on its own. I made the sauce according to the reecipe and like the others found it too sweet. I played around and still felt that it was missing something. Either way it was too sour or too sweet. I won't make this recipe again.

This was a very quick and easy meal to prepare and the chicken was tender, however, the sauce made the dish very sweet. My sister-in-law loved it, but the rest of us (including the kids) found it a bit too sweet. A good recipe if you like sweet/savoury foods.
