Overall, the flavor of this dish was good. But it was a messy dish to make and didn't turn out exactly like I think it was supposed to. First, I marinated the meat only about an hour, and with only about a cup of lemon juice diluted with 1/2 cup of water. It was plenty. I can't imagine marinating it for a full day in 2 cups of full strength lemon juice!
When I fried the chicken, alot of the flour coating didn't stick to the chicken, although it was throughly browned. I just transferred the scraps of coating from the frying pan to the baking pan for flavor. When baking it, the brown sugar added an interesting flavor, but I would use less next time, it was too sweet. I do think the baking made the chicken more tender.
Again, overall tasty, but needs several revisions.
