This chicken was pretty good. I only marinated for about 2 hours and the chicken was very tender.

I loved this recipe. My husband thought it was too much lemon, so next time I won't marinate the chicken ahead of time (I only did it for a few hours the first time.)

Boy..was I disappointed. Can't quite put my finger on it but we love lemon recipes around here and this just didn't cut it. Sorry. One main complaint was not enough sauce. I'll stick to my own recipe that is prepared almost exactly the same way but uses frozen lemonade concentrate and an equal amout of water as the marinade and sauce.

I tried this because so many people raved about it. I only marinated for two hours hoping that would tame the strong lemon taste other reviewers mentioned but to no avail. We ended up ordering in. Sorry!

Loved it!! Looked like a magazine cover! Chicken flavor was great and did marinate it all night.. Not to strong at all. I highly recommend this with smashed tatoes and fresh steamed green beans.. mmmmmmmm

Brilliant! One of the best Lemon Chickens I've ever had, I only marinated for 2 hours turning after one but it seemed just right. I also added the liquid before sprinkling with the sugar and I think this helped keep the skin sweet. It's now one of my favorites. Thanks.

Look no further, this is the best Lemon Chicken recipe out there! Only change I made was to marinate only 4 hours and add an extra tablespoon of marinade into chicken broth. Cook for 20 minutes then broil for 10. Love it!

Loved it. The chicken is nice and tender and the perfect lemony-ness for us! I used fresh lemon juice rather than reserving the marinade. Other than that - no changes. Definitely a keeper! (Update - I have made this for several years now and have found that chicken tenders are my favorite choice of meat. Still one of our favorites!)

AWESOME! Only thing I did different, was I marinated the chicken for only 4 hours instead of overnight.

Easy and super tasty tastebud zapper... Made it with chicken fillets instead of the breast halves and was more than delighted with the result. Did find the 'sauce' stayed like a juice and not thick at all but I made plenty of rice which more than happily soaked it all up.

I used lemon concentrate. Marinated only for 4hrs. I used seasoned box flour. I omitted the lemon slices and squeezed fresh lemon juice over top of chicken before baking the last 10 minutes i broiled. Family loved it!

I love lemon chicken, and this tasted great. I used boneless and skinless chicken thighs because that's what I had. Also I fried the chicken in a deep fryer, instead of a pan before baking it. It turned out great. Thanks for the recipe.

Great recipe. The only alterations I made; half the amount of brown sugar and marinade in 1/2 cup lemon and enough olive oil and white wine to make another half cup. Oh, and i cut some fresh rosemary, which was a great addition! yum

The lemon juice makes the chicken so tender and this recipe is much healthier then the deep fried versions. Tastes much better in my opinion too!

This lemon chicken was great!! I only marinated the chicken for an hour and a half and it came out wonderful. I did bake it for 20 minutes, and then broiled for 5 minutes and it came out nice and crispy.
