AMAZING! Got fresh snow peas on sale so came here & WOW!! I love these, the family makes fun of me because I will eat as a midnight snack and even for breakfast on the weekends :) First healthy thing I have ever LOVED! My first random fluke of purchasing fresh veggies & I now go thru over a lb per week :) PS I do saute them in a pan but still takes like 5 min so easy peasy ;) and true lemon, I use that instead of lemon juice.

Yum!!!!!!!!!!! My husband does not like peas in any form and, he said that he REALLY liked these. I substituted the Italian seasoning with onion salt and garlic salt because of allergies, but otherwise I followed the recipe to the letter. I am going to try steaming next time but microwaving tasted great too. These are even great cold and uncooked. (4 servings) Let them soak in 2 tbs water and 2 tsp minced garlic fir 20 minutes. Drain, then add 1 tsp seasoning and 1 tsp lemon juice and toss. So Good!!

I thought these should be titled Italian snow peas. The Italian seasoning, esp. the rosemary came out rather strong. I think I would have just liked these with the butter, lemon, and maybe a little garlic seasoning. Then, they would have been more appropriately titled. Only change I made was adding a little more water for steaming, but it gets drained anyhow.

My husband bought so many snow peas. I think I've made them once & had no idea how to prepare them. They were delicious made this way! I followed the recipe exactly, except I steamed the snow peas instead of using the microwave. I can't wait to make these again. Thanks!

Whoa! Microwave vegetables? - 1 star. Pan-cooked? - 4-5 stars! Never, never, never microwave as your primary cooking method ... it ruins your food, cooks unevenly, and gives a "tinny" flavor. This is SO easy, 5 minutes in a pan: 1/2 TBS butter in warm-hot pan (just below medium heat), then add garlic for 30 seconds, then Italian seasoning, stir, and then add the snow peas & 1-2 TBS water. Toss & stir (kind-of braising) for a minute or two on medium heat until they just begin to change color, and "finish" with 1 tsp FRESH lemon juice and 1 TBS Ex.Virgin Olive Oil, and a sprinkle of Kosher (coarse) salt and a few grinds of pepper, for about 2 more minutes. That's it ... 5 minutes, done, not overcooked. Serve these up right away!
