I boiled the snow peas instead and it turned out really good. Nice flavor, we don't buy snow peas often but if we ever do again I will use this recipe.

Good recipe. Sliced up shallots and let them sit with the beans for a bit before cooking. Good flavor and a snap to make.

Used a bag of frozen peas - never as good as fresh peas, but they were a big hit at the dinner table - hope to try them fresh peas at some point. Made a great and easy side dish!

Quick and simple. Followed the recipe to a tee, cooked for 3 minutes on high in the microwave. They came out crisp, retained their beautiful colour, and the lemon, butter, and Italian seasoning enhanced the flavour. Will definitely make again.

I was not a snow pea fan until now. This is a great recipe! In the winter, it makes you think of summer and I can't wait to make it with farmer's market snow peas in the summer!

This was decent in flavor. Not the biggest hit in the house, but decent enough. I steamed my snow peas instead of using the microwave. Maybe that made the difference.

This was simple, but excellent. My husband really enjoyed them this way. Of course having them fresh off the farm really helps with the flavor.

I've made this several times now, and I think it's great! Such an easy, tasty way to prepare one of my favorite veggies. I've cooked it for a group, and a couple of people said it was too "lemony", which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

These are great! I made them last Christmas as a side dish, and a few times since for me and my husband. I just wish snow peas weren't so expensive here!

Very quick and very easy, and very tasty. I'm going to save this one for my next dinner party. It certainly helped that the ingredients were pantry staples, too.

I had to do some changes; I microwaved the snow peas, and then I put the cold butter in an alluminum bowl, added the peas and so the butter melted with the warmth of the peas, added the lemon juice, pepper and salt....then I sauteed them for about 5 minutes...and the result: AWSOME!

I wouldn't change a thing about the sauce, however I cooked the snow peas in boiling water for about 4 minutes instead of using the microwave. The garlic and butter smelled so good while they were sauteing, and the lemon juice really gave this sauce a nice mellow tang. I think cooking the lemon juice versus just nuking the sauce helped to eliminate some of the bitter or tart taste others have complained about. I will definitely make this again!
