Loved this Recipe! Hubby approved and eat most of it! Added extra of lemon juice to bread part of recipe. Glaze ran off somewhat, so next time will poke a few shallow holes in top of bread to catch all the wonderful glaze or will add extra powdered sugar to thicken it. Thank you for sharing!

The only issue I had was getting it out of the loaf pan. Mine would not come out. I finally got it out in pieces, which made putting the glaze on it weird. (I did grease the loaf pan). Otherwise, nice taste.

I made thise into muffins instead of a loaf. Baked for 25 minutes and sprinkled with sugar before making rather than use the glaze. They came out wonderful. Made 12 muffins.

Turned out very thick and heavy without any layers of flavor. Disappointing. I made a grapefruit pound cake from Cooking Light that was phenomal, may try that recipe with lemon instead.

This is the best Lemon Bread Recipe I've tried! It's rich and moist and the texture is great! It could use more lemon juice and zest in my opinion. Other than that, it's really good!!!

i liked this but i thought it was wayy to sweet for me. I would cut down the sugar next time and do a regular icing not a lemon icing!

Great moist lemon cake, I did change this recipe slightly due to some of the other reviews. I added 2 teaspoons lemon extract, a few drops of yellow food colouring and 1 tablespoons of poppy seeds. I also reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup. So pleased with both the texture and taste of this lemon loaf. It cooked to perfection in my new Nordic Ware Lemon Loaf pan.
