I didn't change anything in this and out of the two quick breads I baked for my party, this one was eaten first. It was moist with a great lemon flavor.

I was a bit disappointed with this bread. Just wasn't what I expected.

This bread was good, but I think it would be just as good without the lemon glaze. I made my glaze with lemon juice and powdered sugar instead of regular sugar, and it didn't seem to add much. Other than that, the bread was moist, looked good, and had a nice combination of lemon & blueberry. The cooking time took a bit longer in my oven - 1 hr. 15 min.

This bread has lots of flavor, and it is extremely moist. I used real lemons and fresh blueberries. I did however have a problem with the bread itsself. The middle sunk and the blueberries all went to the bottom. When I removed it from the pan some of the blueberries stuck, but the loaf was mainly intact. I loved the recipe and I will definatley try it again.

Absolutely delicious and very easy to make! On the glaze, I mixed the lemon juice with powdered sugar to thicken a little and give it a little more sweetness. The recipe was loved by all!

Delicious! this bread was a huge hit with my boyfriend one lazy sunday morning! It didn't take long to prepare, I did however change a few things. I doubled the recipe and used two 8x4x2 loaf pans. Instead of 3 cups white sugar I used one white and one brown. I also used only 3 eggs and omitted the nuts as I'm not a huge fan of them in bread. The glaze really helped to keep the bread moist, although it didn't need any help, it was incredibly moist inside! I would recommend stirring the batter around a bit once you pour it in the cake pan just to mix the berries around so they don't clump when baking. I used a bit too much lemon I think so will cut back on that next time- a simple sugar glaze would be better I think. Am going to use this recipe next time, but replace the blueberry's with choco.chips. and leave out the lemon. Great recipe!

I used buttermilk, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest and very large blueberries,I should have cut the berries back to 3/4 cup, even though I sprayed my pan very well it still stuck, maybe flouring the pan would help. Bread is very soft in texture, but has good flavor.

This bread is wonderful! It is so pretty and makes a nice gift! Be sure to use fresh blueberries. Using buttermilk also adds a little more flavor to the bread!

Very good. I used fresh blueberries and Realemon juice. Made it and took it to work this week and everyone loved it. Sent home the rest to a coworker and she was very excited. Very easy and quick. Sometimes quick breads take more or less time in the oven; the cooking times for this were spot on for my oven.

It was good. I didn't drizzle the glaze over the entire loaf, I just did it on the individual slices and I thought it added a delicious lemony kick. Moist and very east to make. I did have to cook mine for 1 hour 20 minutes though.

The bread tastes great and we'll certainly finish it, but it didn't amaze me as much as I thought it would. I used fresh squeezed lemon juice. I also freshly zested the lemon peel and only got about 1.5 teaspoons. However, the lemon was still extremely overwhelming - almost don't see the point in the fresh blueberries! Reading other recipes that feature just blueberry without lemon, I saw how reviewers found them bland if they didn't add vanilla and cinnamon. For this recipe, whatever slight flavor the blueberries may have, it's covered by lemon. It's just not what I expected; my boyfriend and friends were very excited when they heard "blueberry loaf" and it seems more like a lemon loaf. I used fresh blueberries with a lot of flavor (sampled quite a few!).

Delicious!! I added a few more fresh blueberries. I also use fresh lemon juice and lemon peel, I really think that makes a difference. The bread had a dense texture with loads of blueberries and walnuts. Very good. I have made this recipe several times for different functions and there are never any leftovers.

It was delicious! However, you might want to grease the pan better than I did. It stuck and broke when I removed it.
