This is a good, moist cake. I substituted 1 t. of vanilla for coconut flavoring just because I had it (1/2 t in the cake and 1/2 t in the topping). The topping doesn't spread, I sprinkled it on. Watch it under the broiler, mine started to burn after 2 1/2 minutes.

I made this years ago from the Taste Of Home Recipe book and it was quite good. The 1st time I read the recipe wrong and ended up with double the butter in it...needless to say it was VERY moist that time around...roflol.
