Fabulous recipe. It was a big hit over Thanksgiving. Here's a hint on roasting and skinning the hazelnuts. If you have a food processor with a dough blade, put the hazelnuts in the processor after you roast them. The skins will come right off and there is no mess to deal with.

The three layers catered to everyones favourites. It was like having 3 cheesecakes. A good medium weight, it wasn't too dense or fluffy. The flavors all complimented each other too.
