I grew up with this being a very special treat. My grandmother would make it with two layers of pudding, chocolate and vanilla, separated by a layer of bananas. Simple perfection!

Very, very good. My family says it is one of their new favorites. I also made this with the Nilla wafers instead of the cinnamon grahams and I used bananna pudding. Will definitely make again.

My brother asked me to make a dessert that our mom used to make when we were little. He described it to me and this recipe came closest to it--no extra stuff like condensed milk or the like. I added one extra banana (I used firm ripe bananas, not over ripe ones). I also used vanilla wafers instead of graham crackers. The result was my brother taking a trip back in time to us being kids. He said it was perfect and is in even more awe of me. Thank you!

This is a real keeper. A made 3 large (6X recipe) for a church fellowship meal and everyone has asked for the recipe and truly enjoyed. The only change I made was using regular graham crackers for the first layer and needs to set more like 3 hours or more to make crackers soften. Yummy!!
