I agreed with the reviewer that recommended white beans in place of the kidney. Also the can of corn adds great flavor. I LOVE this recipe. So great!

Really great! We did add a can of chili-ready tomatoes and a can of water in addition to the recipe. It was really fantastic - a little too spicy for my toddlers, but my husband and I thought it was really yummy!

This has become a great family recipe for chili. Even my mom who finds something wrong with everything I do and my picky eating daughter loved it. In the words of my daughter "It's delicious!!!"

I really liked this. I did however add 1 can of beer because it looked like it was going to be really thick. Added cheese and crushed tortilla chips on top.

Used 1 can low sodium beef broth and 1 can tomato soup for a heartier flavor. Also used 1 can black beans, 1 can pinto and 1 can white beans for added fiber and flavor. I made several times and sometimes throw in corn.

MMMMMMM GOOD!! Everyone raved about the chili. My 84 year old grandpa who isn't a chili fan said this is the first chili he's ever tasted that he liked. He had 3 bowls. I substituted one can of tomato soup with a can of diced tomatoes and chilies. I also omitted the garlic since I am allergic. I added cherry tomatoes for the last hour of cooking. I will definitely make again!

Unbelievable. My kids and husband do not like chili, but they loved this. They said it was the best chili the had ever had, and they went back for seconds. I used about 1/4 of the recommended chili powder - about 1/2 T, and no red pepper flakes. Also could not find low sodium tomato soup, so used regular. Thanks Laura!

Great recipe, everyone loved it. I increased turkey by 1 pound and added 1 can of white beans and a can of diced tomatoes. With addd ingredients I also increased spices by a pinch. Easy and delicious, thanks Laura!

Very good and easy! Used ground chicken, replaced one can of soup with a can of tomatoes w/green chiles, and only used one can of (black) beans. Excellent flavor! Also, in my opinion not too spicy - just a good spice!

I thought this was really easy and delicious. Based on other reviews I made a few small changes 1) cooked onion with meat, 2) substituted one can soup with one can chopped tomatoes with chilis and 3) only used half amount of red pepper flakes called for. It was easy to prepare and was perfect chili on a cold evening watching football

We all liked this. It cooked down to no juices so we're going to make chili dogs for a quick dinner tonight. I cooked on high for 3 1/2 hours and it was burning to the sides. Watch the cook time on this!

This was so simple to put together, and it was delicious. I prepared everything the night before and then turned on the slow cooker at lunch time the next day. It was ready and waiting for supper time!

My husband loved this which was good because he hasn't been impressed with any other chili I made. I cut the chili powder in half like others suggested and I added a can of whole kernel corn (drained). I ended up using about 1-1/2 pounds of turkey so I added another can of soup and shook in a little bit of extra spices. I'm making it again tonight hopefully it passes the mother-in-law test. Thanks for the recipe!

Laura, this is great chili! We love lots of beans in our chili and this really had that. I used two cans of Healthy Request Tomato soup and thought it worked great, no canned soup taste. I did add more onion and some chopped bell pepper because we had plenty of both. I left out the hot pepper flakes and just put those on the dinner table. That way the chili wasn't too spicy for my teenagers. Served this with shredded cheddar jack cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips. A great big thank you for this keeper recipe!

I'm pregnant and have had almost no energy to do anything, including cooking, one of my favorite things. I decided to break out my slow cooker and start using it, so we at least have some hot, home-cooked meals! I don't normally like to cook with canned soup, but this chili was actually very good, quick to put together and smelled great while cooking. All together it took less than 15 minutes to put together. Will make again, if I need a tasty and fast meal. The only thing I changed was I added 4 oz. of canned mushrooms and diced up a green pepper.

Amazingly easy and delicious. My husband and young daughter usually do not like chili, but they both ate this up and loved it! I left out the onions and red pepper flakes and I used canned diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onions instead of soup. I also added 5-6 ounces of tomato sauce, a half tablespoon of sugar and an extra dash of cinnamon. This is a new family favorite. Thanks!!
