Great base recipe. I made it once w/ beef and another time w/ turkey and both were very good. I used 1 can rotel diced tomatoes w/chiles and 1 can tomatoe sauce b/c i had no soup. I added about 1/2 c of water. I used a whole onion and a gr. pepper. You can play w/ the recipe based on what you have on hand. The taste is 4 stars but I bumped it up to 5 stars b/c it is easy and healthy.

I was amazed at how delicious this recipe was, especially after I made it even healthier. It was fast, easy, nutritious, and super delicious! I used low-sodium kidney beans and low sodium black beans. I added 1/4 cup water, and one can of diced tomatoes with green chiles. I also added 1.5 cups of frozen corn the last hour of cooking. Pair this recipe with "Excellent & Healthy Cornbread" and it will satisfy everyone in your home. Thank you for this guilt free recipe!

This recipe was so easy and delicious. I made the following changes - I browned the turkey meat with the onion before slow cooking - I replaced the soup with 1 can of chopped tomatoes with chiles - I added a can of corn Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. It is not too spicy - you could even add more spice or a can of jalepenos if you like spicy. Next time I will try to add butternut squash...I love the combo.

I will make this chili again but, change a few things. I added chicken cooking stock (I thought this recipe was too thick) This is the only change I made and after cooking the chili in the slow cooker realized that the longer it cooked the better it tasted. Next time I will not use two cans of tomato soup. Maybe one and then substitute the other with a can of chopped tomatos or tomato sauce. Maybe even omit the allspice. I will also use 1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes to suit our taste. Other then that not a bad recipe. Thank you and I will try this again.

Delicious and economical. I know chili recipes vary widely depending on the region, but this is good as-is, or as a point of departure for variations. I'll definitely be making this again, and I'll probably substitute a can of tomatoes, and add a clove of garlic and a green pepper to make it like Mom used to make... only gloriously spicier.

FANTASTIC! I did make changes based on comments, but am sure it is just as good in it's original format. We like spicy/hot foods but even I did a double take at the spice quanties, but the amounts are perfect (left out the allspice). I even added 1 chopped jalapeno pepper & 1-4 oz can gr chilies. I used only 1 can soup and in place of the 2nd, added 1 can diced tomato. I also substituted 1 can of the kidney beans for frozen corn. Also added a generous 1/2 cup water and increased the onion to 1 rather large onion. It was so good that I had leftovers for bkfst this morning - couldn't wait until lunch time!

Was a decent chili recipe. Still missing something though and a little too thick for my liking.

This was very good and simple as well; which was great for our Sunday lunch! I followed the advice below and added some water as well as green chilies. I also used two cans of crushed tomatoes and only one can of tomato soup (it was what I had on hand). It tasted great and even my very picky mother liked it. This will be our go to chili recipe from now on.

This came out very good. I added some additional ingredients suggested by some previous reviewers, and used diced tomatoes with jalepeno added (it was still not too spicy, though, and I'm a wimp!). I will make this again!

This recipe was phenominal. I only used 1 can of kidney beans and 1 can of corn. I also cut up red and green peppers and threw them in for some added color. I can't wait to make this recipe again.

Really easy and yummy! I added some corn and didn't use onion. It's easy to make the recipe a little spicier if you want to. I have also made this with lean ground beef as well.

This is a staple recipe in my house. I make it once every few weeks for sure. My only changes: I add a package of taco seasoning plus pepper, jalapeno, garlic powder and a bit of chili seasoning and omit the rest of the spices. I add a 15 oz can of diced tomatoes instead of the tomato soup. It's a favorite, give it a whirl!

I leave out the allspice and add a little more chili powder as well as celery and canned corn. This is so easy and allways gets rave reviews. I've even done it minus the turkey for a veggie dinner night.

I followed the change suggestions listed by others. This is a keeper for sure. My only complaint is that the turkey came out a little dry. If there was some way of making the turkey a little more moist that would make this a 5 star chili for sure!!

This makes a great meal! I do make a couple of changes, just my preference. I omit the beans and add a 28oz can of diced tomatoes. Then when it's almost finished I cook a box of pasta(macaroni, shells, whatever I have around) and add the cooked pasta to the chili. Love it!
