These were fabulous, and very easy, as well as popular with our guests. I'm not a green pepper fan, so we left that out, and it was just fine. Be sure to chop your carrot pretty small.

This was awesome. The seasoning salt isn't necessary. I used 36 frozen "homestyle" meatballs, and it was the perfect number for the amount of sauce. Served over rice, and voila! This is soon to be laminated and placed in my permanent recipe box.

I really was leary of sweet and sour that didn't use tomato, but this one was fresh and tangy. One time, I didn't have fresh green bell peppers, so I used canned roasted diced green chiles. By mistake, I pulled out a can of the spicy kind. It was actually fantastic and now party of my potluck rotation.

Sauce was good, easy to make and looked nice with the cut up veggies in the dish. Next time I might add some garlic to give it a little more flavor, but otherwise a nice recipe!

The sauce was outstanding but the meatballs were a little dry and that was with a little milk added to the recipe. I'd like to try the sauce with chicken next time.

I loved this! I was looking for something similar to a recipe my best friend's mother used to serve, and this tasted just like it! It didn't have as much sauce as hers did, but it was still delicious! Thanks!

They were O.K. The sauce was great, so were the pineapple & peppers. BUT, the meatballs were a little strange. It didn't seem right to bite into something sweet & sour and have it taste like ground beef. I think if it were a ground pork/beef combo I would have liked it better.

This was very good. It made a substantial amount of meatball and the sauce was very "sweet and sour". I used rice vinegar and substituted about 1/3 ground chicken for the beef. I added parsley and pinon nuts to the meatball mixture and used panko for the bread crumbs and added a touch of fresh ground ginger. To the sauce I chopped up fine, one roasted bell pepper for color. Everyone loved it and said they would eat it again. I served with with a red leaf salad with scallions, sesame seeds, grated carrot and a ginger dressing. Tasty!!

Excellent!!!! I made a half recipe of meatballs which made about 24 and baked in the oven for 15 minutes. I used frozen peas and carrots instead of just carrots and I also used apple juice to top up the pineapple juice. It all turned out wonderfully. I loved it. My 13 month old loved them but I couldn't get my 2.5 year old to even taste them but I think that has more to do with being 2ish and strong willed than with the recipe!! All in all I loved it and will make this recipe again.

This recipie was very good, although, i used ground turkey instead. I also served this over rice, and when i made the rice i put one can of turkey broth in it, this really brought out the flavor.
