I made this for a luau that we threw, and there were none left. I had several people ask me for the recipe, and my dad who is very picky asked if I would make it at our next get together. Thanks so much for this awesome meatball recipe.

These were delicious! I made them the first time with ground turkey and they were very good. I only used 1 lb of meat but the full amount of sauce and it was perfect. I served them over rice for dinner and we ate meatball sandwiches the next day. Highly recommend this recipe. Thanks, Lana!

Less time consuming than anticipated. I served it over white rice and it turned out to be a very yummy home cooked meal. Definately a keeper, esp with the colder months coming!

Very good. Favorite part was the meatballs, might try using them in spagetti or something. Took the advice of others and cut the meat in half but used the full for sauce. Didn't have canned pineapple but had a fresh one, cut up chunks and then blended some in a CuisinArt and added water to make juice. Tasted great!

This is a family favourite at our house! I omit the carrot, green pepper, onion, and ginger, for personal preference, and use crushed pineapple. (my husband hates pineapple but likes it crushed in this recipe! lol) I half the recipe but make the full recipe for the sauce. I serve it over rice, I have made this several times and it always turns out great! Thanks Lana!

we love this recipe. i crave it! i half the recipe for dinner + leftovers for the two of us, & don't add carrots or peppers, just 1 20 oz. can of pineapple. i don't add the water, i just use all the juice in the can of pineapple. i also use lots of ginger. very great comfort food! :) thanks so much, lana!

These were nice and tasty. I didn’t put the pineapple chunks in because I thought they might get too sweet. I was correct. The sauce was already sweet enough and they were a hit.

This is really excellent. I've made it twice - the first time exactly as written and the second time I had to substitute because I realised I didn't have any pineapple! I used 1/2 c of orange juice and added about 2 tbsp of white sugar, as well as the brown sugar. Just used for veggies to bulk it up. My husband said he liked it better than with the pineapple! And my two year old can't get enough. Definitely a winner.

This recipe was amazing...I didn't change a single thing. I made it for dinner Saturday night and it was devoured!! If you want you can double up the sauce recipe for serving on your rice!!
