This is a very quick, easy dish that comes off as though a lot of work had gone into it. This is a great dish to serve for guests for a special occasion.

this recipe was fantastic! i'm not usually a fan of lamb, but my husband loves it so i'm always looking for a way to meet in the middle. this was the way to do that! i followed the recipe just as it is, and used a good quality balsamic vinegar for the sauce. the chops i had were thicker than the recipe called for so i had to wing it with the doneness, but luckily they turned out perfectly :) the balsamic really compliments the taste of the lamb well and i took another reviewer's advice and served it over spring salad with a side of rosemary roasted new potatoes. the best thing about it, is that it was quick and easy...but very impressive on the plate!

This recipe was delicious! I used lamb loin chops, and I usually grill them, but cooking them on the stove was fabulous. I did add some garlic, and some red wine to add to the reduction. Great flavor!

This really was fantastic! I used fresh basil and rosemary (I would have used fresh thyme but all I had was dried) and added fresh minced garlic with the scallions. The reduction was wonderful, as I love balsamic vinegar. I will probably double the sauce next time. The only problem I had was with the temperatures so I think I burned it a little, but my stovetop is rather tempermental and tends to be too hot so that is no fault of the recipe. I served this with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and a tossed salad. Next time there will definately be a good red wine. Yummy!! Thanks so much for sharing.

Delicious...used red onions didn't have shallots...chops were juicy, tasty, especially with the reduction sauce.

This is fantastic! Just what I was looking for. Had this dish at a local Houston restaurant for 37.00, this is so very close!! bought lamb chops at Whole Foods, and did double the sauce, just took a bit longer to reduce. Didn't change a thing! Wonderful.

Amazing dish! The only thing I changed was I added some sliced baby portabello mushrooms with the shallots. The basalmic with the mushrooms was incredible! The sauce thickened perfectly. This will definately become a regular dish for us.

This was wonderful, quick & easy! The recipe really doesn't need any changes. I did mince a clove of garlic & added it when browning the shallot, but that is a personal preference. The recipe is fine without it!

A wonderful flavor! I will make this one again. I didn't have any "great" Balsamic so I can only imagine how good it will be with a better balsamic. I made a nice summer veggie risotto to go with the lamb. Yummmmm

I made these for dinner one night, and we all liked them. It was a little different, but the lamb absorbed the flavor of the dried herbs wonderfully for such a short amount of time. The balsamic reduction reminds one of a fancy restaurant dish, and it compliments the lamb nicely. Like the other reviewers said, use a good, high quality vinegar. Your sauce will only be as good as your vinegar!

I'm a person who eats lamb chop because my family likes them. . . this recipe changed my mind! The spices and reduction perfectly compliment the chops. When you taste this, nothing is over-powering in flavor, it blends so well. (My kids didn't like the smell of the vinegar cooking either, but soon forgot about when they ate it)

I must admit I bought my chops on sale...and I think they were not a very choice cut. I am new to cooking lamb and not sure how much I like it but my husband really liked this recipe.

This sauce... ooooh this sauce. This lamb recipe with this delectable sauce, over a bed of wild greens with rice on the side. A bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. What amazing flavors, indeed. Myself and my family absolutely loved it. Thank you!
