This was very good. The quality of the balsamic you choose really makes a difference as to how the sauce will taste. I used lamb loin chops. 3 minutes on each side and finished them in the oven while I made the sauce. Very easy and tasty :)

This was wonderful!! A huge hit with the family. The only change I made was to use garlic flavored olive oil. I will make this again.

OH MY LORD, were these chops DELISH... I had tried lamb chops some years ago and did not care for them at all. After meeting my husband ( a lamb chop lover ) he convinced me to try them again, so i searched and searched for a recipe that just might be palatable for me. I LOVE these lamb chops, the only thing I did differently, was added garlic powder to the seasoning. Make sure you use a high quality Balsamic... makes it so much better! Although, i did make these one time and did not realize I was out of Balsamic until after I had already browned the chops so I had to substitute with something, so I used red wine vinegar.. and it wasnt too bad, but not as good as Balsamic. . Thanks for a terrific recipe!!

My husband(not a lamb lover) Loved this recipe! We served it with a Pinot Noir wine, fresh asparagus, fresh corn-on- the cob and cantaloupe. We will use this recipe again.

Perfect! Just make a little more sauce and pair this with cous cous - drizzle balsamic sauce over it - YUM! My little picky eater friend asks me to make this a couple of times a year for her!

Totally Amazing! Easy, Delicious,First Class. Trust the recipe. After you remove the chops, turn up the heat a bit to speed the reduction. If you have a warmer to hold the meat, that will be helpfull because it did take some time for the sauce to reduce. I served this with asparagus and a light-cream pasta. I tasted like something from a fine restraunt.

Due to the length of time to reduce the sauce, the chops continued to cook past medium, while holding, and ended up served medium well. Prepared in a cast iron skillet. The taste was great. Next time will sear in skillet and remove, then prepare sauce.

Delicious! I used fresh herbs instead of dry. I also added freash parsley and oregano, as well as a little fresh garlic to the rub. I let the rub sit on the lamb for about an hour. The balsamic reduction takes this dish to next level. I didn't have shallotts so I just used onion. I also dissolved some cornstarch in water and added it to the pan a few minutes before the reduction was done just to thicken it up a bit. My husband loved this dish. I can't wait to make it for company. Thanks!

Lamb is my favorite meat, but unfortunately my husband not only won't eat it, but can't stand the smell of it cooking! So I used pork tender loin chops for this recipe. Turned out great, meat very tender, and the sauce delicious! Now I just have to get rid of hubby one night, so I can try this with lamb!

I didn't get to the "balsamic reduction" because I used this recipe for a meal I left for hubby to cook. I just mixed the dry herbs and left him to rub and grill (his cooking method of choice). He and his sister said the chops turned out soooo good. Rub couldn't have been simpler. I was worried about using dried instead of fresh herbs (I love a fresh rosemary), but I think it turned out well regardless.
