"I came up with this variation on Ants on a Log for Thanksgiving because my brother hates raisins. They would also work well for schools or daycares with nut-free rules for snacks and lunches." — whodunitrdr

1/4 cup dried cranberries
6 stalks celery, cut into 3-inch pieces
1/2 cup raspberry flavored cream cheese
Cute recipe and a nice twist on the classic "Ants on a Log". I didn't have raspberry flavored cream cheese so I just mixed som light cream cheese with raspberry jam - YUMMY!
What a great idea. It's so simple and yet I haven't heard of doing this before now. My kids love dried cranberries and this will be frequently given at snack time now. Thanks!

I made this with an afterschool group of primary elementary kids. We flavored our own low-fat cream cheese with strawberry fruit spread. The kids loved the flavor - and making it themselves.
The kids at school loved this, nice change from raisins
My daughters and I made this for a snack one day. They loved helping me make it, and eating it!!! Great Idea!
My picky 5 year old really loved this idea! She ate every single piece we made! Fun for kids :)
Cute idea. Thanks.
