This recipe produces moist, flavorful turkey meat. I do believe it's a bit unrealistic to think that you could easily serve this as depicted in the picture. After cooking for less than 8 hours on low, the meat was all in the bottom of my crockpot, not on the bone. No biggie, we ate the meat wrapped in flour tortillas with lettuce, cilantro, tomato, shredded cheese, and sour cream. I used green enchilada sauce which gave the meat awesome flavor. Really tasty. Thanks :)

Well...the turkey was fall off the bone tender and flavorful, and the sauce was silken and tasty. BUT the turkey didn't seem to absorb any of the flavor of the sauce. I suppose you could dip each bite of turkey into the sauce, but as these drumsticks are kind of wet you wouldn't want to eat them with your hands and it just seems like a lot of trouble to pick them apart with a fork and dip. Would have been happier if I'd just roasted my drumsticks.
