I read many reviews before I make a recipe. Usually I stick to the recipe to see what it was meant to taste like unless many reviewers suggest 1 or 2 changes. This was pretty good however I added a few changes of my own. In addition to the pepper, I had green I added a small onion, a few baby carrots and one stalk of celery. I was trying to use up some left over vegetables. I cut everything the same size, all diced. I cooked all the veggies together in just a dash of oil. In a bigger frying pan I cooked the potatoes in a little bit of oil and butter to crisp them up a bit then I added the kielbasa. When the potatoes were almost tender I added the lightly sauteed veggies to the pan. I also added a little bit of beef broth to keep it moist and a few dashes of soy sauce. Put the lid on it and let it cook just a tad more to fully cook the potatoes. The only downfall is there just wasn't enough for 3 hungry adults and 1 child. Next time I will make even more.

Very tasty! I used some chicken sausages I had on hand. I added a sprinkle of garlic powder. I also used a bit of chicken stock while the potatoes and sausages were cooking. Just a few tablespoons, then let it evaporate. It kept the whole dish moist and adds a little flavor. My husband kept saying "this is good, it would be good with a fried egg on top of it". I guess that is how we will try it next time :)

I used a green bell pepper instead of yellow since that was what I had. Slso I added an onion. The potatoes were done after about 10 min. then they turned to mush. I made a similar recipe to this years ago, but I boiled the potatoes about 5 min. then cooked them with the sausage to a crisp. If I make this again I wouldn't cover the pan. The potatoes get too mushy.

I liked the combo of flavors in this. I threw it in the crock pot with about a cup of chix broth, needless to say the whole oil part was skipped, but it came out wonderful. The addition of red pepper flakes and garlic powder sprinkled over this while serving is fab! Thanks Malonja!

What a tasty & easy recipe! I've made it many times, once or twice as directed, other times adding red onion, shredded green cabbage & I use olive oil in place of veg. oil. The whole family loves it.

Taste was so so. Didn't care for this much at all. Had to stir constantly to keep from burning. Just didn't feel like a good dinner at all.

This recipie was great, I did saute the peppers and the onions in a seperate pan first with some oil and spices, before I put them in with the potatoes and kielbasa, I also added some water to help cook the potatoes a little faster.

This was good, but I changed the recipe to make it easier and with more veggies. I used O'Brien potatoes (frozen w/peppers & onions), frozen mixed veggies, cut up kielbasa and then added shredded cheddar cheese on top at the end. My family loves it and only takes 15 minutes to make.

The flavor was good, and all family members ate it, but you really have to babysit and stir quite often, even with a non-stick pan.

It is a good basic recipe. I had to jazz it up a little. I added a large onion and some spices. Family seemed to like it, I will probably make this again.
