really good!! I did make several changes, but only because I was using what I had on hand. I didn't have red peppers so I doubled up on the green. Used dark red kidney beans and bbq sauce in place of the steak sauce. Also apparently misread directions and used white vinegar instead of cider..turned out wonderfully.

I absolutely love it! I was never a fan of Kielbasa. I added 3 potatoes diced and used red kidney beans. Fabulous.

I made this for a Super Bowl party potluck last night and it was a big hit! Everyone was asking who made it. I doubled the recipe and used both white cannelini beans and light red kidney beans for an extra visual impact, and cut up the kielbasa into quarters (instead of coins). I used frozen pepper stir fry mix (red, yellow, green bell peppers and onions) and added fresh onion. I only used half the sugar called for, and it was good, but I do think it could stand to have the full amount of sugar as well. We loved this dish!

This is very good for how simple it is. I used light red kidney beans, it went well with the kielbasa and sauce. I also added some egg noodles to the final dish, it was a good addition. Edit: I found when I want to add the noodles that you should double the sauce mixture. I will make this often.

I made this with onions, celery, and light kidney beans tonight and put it over noodles. It was yummy! As per other cooks, I reduced the brown sugar content.

This was fast, easy and tastey. Best of all, I had every ingrediant in my pantry. They only change I made was to cut the brown sugar from a 1/4 to 1/8. I left all the other measurements the same. It had that sweet/savory thing going on without being overly sweet. I have learned on this site to cut the sweet in half. Thanks for sharing. I will make this again.

In changing this recipe up a bit, my family loved it! I added 2 small diced, sauteed chicken breasts, 1 can diced tomatoes, seasoned with basil, oregano and garlic. And I omitted the ingredients for the sauce. I served on top of egg noodles and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Definitely a recipe worth keeping!

My husband and I enjoyed this but the kids did not. Next time I'll use great northern beans as they're of a softer texture than the white kidneys. We liked the sweetness of the sauce using the full 1/4 c. of brown sugar.

My mom and I have made this many times, and each time we change it a little bit. Sometimes we add some cooked penne, tomatoes, fennel seed, tomato sauce, etc., leaving out other ingredients (such as the Worcestershire). It's a really adaptable recipe and it's fun to make!

My husband and I love this recipe. I found it in Taste of Home years ago. I add half the brown sugar because it just seemed like it would be to sweet, but it is still good. I have added celery, cabbage, and many other veggie's as well. I also have changed up the beans and used pinto, kidney, navy and they were all good. I serve this over rice.
