Absolutely delicious. After the onions and peppers cooked I removed them from the pan and browned the Kielbasa (I don't like mushy veggies). This was a definite keeper and my hubby raved about it. The apartment smelled wonderful with the aroma. Thanks for sharing.

I was afraid that this recipe was too simple to be tasty, but after following other reviewers suggestions (garlic and crushed red pepper) it was great! Everyone loved it!

Kielbasa Cabbage Skillet Haiku: "Mmm, I love cabbage. Nice 'sub' here for a pasta. With good flavor, too." I used a little red bell pepper too for some extra color, as well as added 1 TB Cajun Seasoning & a shake of Worcestershire; very pleased w/ this dish. Reminded me of a low-carb southern stir-fry, easy to make and tasty w/ the addition of the cabbage.

I made this a few nights ago. It was a good change from the ordinary and a way to get a few extra veggies in our meal. However, I didn't have green bell pepper so I didn't use it. I know someone said it was a bit bland, and I would agree if the sausage doesn't have loads of flavor. Also, I did cook the sausage first, when I took the sausage out of pan to slice I added the veggies, then returned sausage to pan. It was nice to have something different and not spend forever in the kitchen. Almost forgot, I did cut up a few red potatoes and added them to the pan too. Made a good well rounded one pot meal. Thanks for sharing!

I really liked this dish, but it was a little too greasy. I added 2 red skin potatoes, cooking them in the microwave first for about 6 minutes. I started with a little oil to cook the sausage and potatoes, and then added butter before adding the onions, peppers and cabbage. Like others, I didn't want my veggies to be mushy but crispy so I added them last. I also added some red pepper flakes and other seasoning. It had great flavor, maybe due to the seasonings and chicken broth. It's a light meal that goes well with a salad. I will make this again but attempt to make it not so greasy.

good taste but healthier with turkey sausage and I added caraway, 3 small garlic cloves, and the red flaked pepper (1/8 t). I also cut the cabbage stem out to make it softer, then added it all over Sobu noodles. It isn't a colorful dish, but quite satisfying.

This is a great change from my normal kielbasa and sourkraut. I added red pepper instead of green and used spicy seasonings to give it a zing. Very good.

Technically I did not use this recipe. I just kinda made it up as I went but the ingrediants are so close I felt safe rating this. I sauteed onions in butter added garlic, chopped cabbage, a few shredded mini carrots and I used smoked beef sausage (it is what I prefer). added the chicken broth and salt and pepper. At the last minute I added a splash of rasberry flavored vinegar. It was fantastic! Husband ate two servings. We added applesauce as a side for a nice meal. Thanks for sharing. Good comfort food.
