I too cooked this a little differently. I browned the meat first, then drained it. I then added the veggies, plus about 1/2 tsp of chopped garlic, and 1/2 bag of bagged coleslaw mix.
I also used a ramen noodles package because that's all I had, and I used a can of beef broth instead of water. Added the meat back in and viola! Done very quickly. Tasty, and makes alot. My son didn't care for it, so I'll have plenty of leftovers for lunch for the week. Thanks for the post, I will make again.
