Great, simple recipe! It was full of flavor and ridiculously simple to prepare. We used fresh lime juice, which really added some nice flavor and squirted it again once the chicken came off the grill - wow! Certainly much better than the preservative packed, chemically induced junk found in the store! Will definitely be a go-to recipe when we want something simple, healthy & tasty!

Pretty good but nothing special. A quick and basic recipe.

This is delicious. I accidently ran out of soy sauce so had to substitute 1 tb of teryiaki sauce. Other than that the only other difficulty I had was that the marinade kinda burned a little bit...but it was good. Thanks for the post.

Good. Not Great. Could've bought the marinade in the store for the same effect.

Very simple and delicious. Tasted a bit like a teriyaki to me. I don't have a grill so I cooked the chicken on the stovetop with a little olive oil and a couple spoonfuls of the marinade. The marinade cooked down a bit with the chicken juices and made a nice sauce. Great way to jump start your chicken without having to think too far ahead!

I only marinated the chicken for 30 minutes and while the chicken was extremely juicy, the flavor wasn't really there. May try again after marinating longer - the slight flavor was promising.

The flavor of the marinade was tastey. However, the marinade in the store is just as good. It didn't stick out as an amazing recipe.

This is a great marinade for chicken. I used bone in chicken breast and tripled the marinade. I will make this again. Thanks for sharing.

Missing the WOW factor. the chicken came out nice and tender and juicy but I expected more flavor in the marinade. My family said the same. But with some adjustment I think this could be more flavorable.

This was ok, the marinade was flavorful, just the chicken was a bit dry or something. I guess thats just the nature of the bird.

this was pretty good for boneless chicken (i'm not a big fan of boneless chicken). My husband had the idea of making a sandwich with it and it was great!

I thought this was okay - no better or worse than using a bottled marinate, except probably less sugar. Chicken charred up nicely.

This was perfect. I did let it marinade all day but next time it really needs to sit over night to get the full effect of the flavors. I did double the marinade but decreased the soy sauce, which with the extra honey and soy made the best flavor combo. I paired this with the Garlic Parmesan Orzo from this site. This will definitely be one of my top grilling marinades this summer!

I didn't think this was very key west-y ...but I would try it again. I only marinated mine for about 2 hours, so next time i would try overnight and possibly double the marinade.
