I made this tonight for Father's Day. Key Lime Pie is my husband's favorite. Until now, I would try a new recipe each time. We have found our standard! I cooked it for 12 mintues as suggested and used 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. Thank you!!

I made this pie for a college group. It was basically inhaled! This was the perfect blend of creamy, tart, tangy, and sweet. It was fantastic! Also, the graham cracker crust was a perfect crust. Everyone was raving that they would pay me to make this pie for them again! One of the leaders said that it tasted just like her mom made it in the old days. Thank you for a great recipe! I will be using it again and again.

This is probably one of my favorite recipes on this site. If I could give it a THOUSAND stars I would. Also one of the easiest desserts I have ever made. The only thing I changed was instead of squeezing approximately 20 some-odd key limes I just used key lime juice I bought from the store. My husband and I ate this pie alone in 2 days... We were eating it instead of meals! This pie is dangerously delicious!!! A huge thanks to the poster you just became my new hero!!!

I made this pie using 6 regular limes since that is what I had on hand. It turned out very creamy, tart, and yummy. Just how I like them! I used just two cans of sweetened condensed milk. It didn't quite equal 3 cups, but the consistency was still good. Also, since I don't like graham cracker crusts, I made a regular pie crust, and it tasted very good together. Anyway, altogether a very good recipe!

I added a bit more lime juice (like 2 tbs) because I do like mine a bit more tart. Perfect density, smoothness and the pie didn't suffer at all from the omission of the traditional egg yolks. The measurements were also perfect for a 9 in pie!

This pie was WONDERFUL! I grew up in Florida and have been looking for a recipe that tasted just like I remember it.....AND I DID....but I almost think this one is better!!!! It is so easy that the first time it came out perfect! No do overs here LOL! My Fiance' was born and raised in Tennessee (home of southern cooking) and he thinks this is the best pie he has ever tasted! I did use some of the hints like the 3 cups of sweetened condensed milk = 2 14 oz cans and if you use the real limes (instead of bottled juice)it's approx. 20 (that came in handy when shopping)But other than that the recipe is flawless! DON'T CHANGE A THING!! Thank you so much Ann for this delicious recipe!

What have I gotten myself into? I tried this recipe right before Easter this year as my neighbor gave me a plastic bag full of beautiful limes from her tree. I think I made about 10 of these scrumptious pies so far this year. It's almost embarrassing to tell people how simple the recipe is and that I can make it in such short order. I love everything about the pie and make the recipe as written. I have always been a huge fan of Key Lime Pie and now I am a fan of this great recipe. Thank you, Ann.

Ok- I like *really* sweet things but this was sooooo sweet that when my guests took the first bite I could tell on all their faces that it was way too sweet. I followed the recipe exactly. I'm wondering if next time I will 1/2 the recipe and then fold in some cool whip to cut the richness.... Thanks for sharing though- the actual flavors were spot on I just need to figure out how to cut the sweetness.
