Ok- I like *really* sweet things but this was sooooo sweet that when my guests took the first bite I could tell on all their faces that it was way too sweet. I followed the recipe exactly. I'm wondering if next time I will 1/2 the recipe and then fold in some cool whip to cut the richness.... Thanks for sharing though- the actual flavors were spot on I just need to figure out how to cut the sweetness.

I partly fault myself here for not using the highest-end ingredients - I could not find "key lime" juice so just used regular supermarket lime juice. I also used a more generic brand of sour cream which may have had something to do with the flavor - there was something almost metallic about it. I'll try this recipe again as I'm not overjoyed with the other Key Lime Pie recipe that I have...but I'll make sure to use the best ingredients next time...

Very easy to make! Strong lime flavor! Like other reviewers I did not get the tiny pinholes. I baked for 10 minutes and then removed from the oven. The garlic press came in handy to juice all those limes! It took about 30-35 limes to get the 3/4 cup.

My 14 year old daughter made this. She LOVES key lime pie. Neither her father or I are big fans of it so this is her rating. It was easy enough to make without supervision for her. We also did not get the pinholes popping or as she said pine holes popping. We ended up with it in the oven for around 10 minutes then took it out. It set up fine.

This is the perfect key lime pie! No need to change anything about the recipe, it's easy and compliments guaranteed. I brought it to a family picnic and now, they want me to make this pie every time.

This was really good! Per other reviews, I added two 14 oz cans of condensed milk and baked for 10 minutes. I really liked the consistency. The next time I think I'll increase the amount of grated lime (just a personal preference).

Even though I don't eat Key Lime Pie, I don't mind making it with this recipe because it's so quick and easy. My boyfriend loved it (made it for him). So did everyone else who had some.

My sister who his a huge critic of key lime pie LOVED this. I thought it was a little of the sweet side- but i think that is how key lime pie is supposed to be. Filling sat well in the pie crust and had a great texture. WIll make this again!!!

I didn't use the zest. I cut the recipe in half to make a small tart. I've made it 3 times now, everyone loves this recipe. I like the fact that there are no egg yolks in it, but it tastes so good.

Delicious! Light and creamy. Everyone loved this... Only note is that this dessert is high in fat from the condensed sweet milk. We used fat free sour cream and could not tell the difference.

Over the years, my family has spent a lot of time in Florida. I have tried a few Key Lime Pie recipes but could never achieve a result like a really good restaurant pie. Well, here it is! The zest makes the difference so don't leave it out.(I used the zest from one regular lime). Others have complained about the juicing of the limes....you should be able to find bottled key lime juice in the juice isle at the grocery. I live in the sticks and we have it here! Also, the fact that there are no egg yolks involved gives it a much cleaner flavor. Texture is unbelievably creamy. I prepared with home made graham cracker crust and real whipped cream...AMAZING

This pie is fabulous!! The suggestion by one reviewer to use a garlic press, is not only smart, but also very thoughtful to pass that on! With my little rectangle press, I first put the half lime in sideways and pressed slightly, then flipped it pulp side down. I got the maximum juice from my key limes. I made 2 pies and used 40 little limes to make the 1 1/2 cups needed. This is now a "must" pie for all family gatherings!
