Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, beat together the butter, Kahlua Mocha, egg and cream cheese until fluffy. Add the devil's food cake mix a little a time, fully incorporating each time. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Roll the dough into balls. Roll each ball into powdered sugar. Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before moving to wire cooling rack to cool completely.

Very good cookies!!!! I just took the first batch out of the oven and they are soft and tender. I substituted margarine for the butter and the batter was still very soft after chilling. I am sure that wouldn't have been a problem had I used the butter. I may add chocolate chips to the remaining cookie dough. Very easy recipe to make!!
