Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package KRETSCHMAR® Self Service Deli Sliced Roast Beef
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small cucumber peeled, seeded, and diced very fine
  • 8 whole wheat pita breads
  • 8 slices KRETSCHMAR® Provolone Cheese

Directions

  1. Shred the whole package of roast beef. In medium bowl combine shredded roast beef with lemon pepper, olives and feta cheese. Set aside. Place in a small bowl the mayonnaise, garlic powder, and cucumber, and mix together. Spread the mayonnaise mixture on each bun or pita. Add 1/2 cup roast beef mixture. Top with provolone cheese.

  • Comments:
  • This can be served warm or cold. If you choose warm, place sandwich in microwave for 30 seconds on medium setting or until cheese has melted.
  • You can use whole wheat bread or hamburger rolls instead of pita breads if you wish.
