Original Recipe Yield 12 Easter eggs
 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 6 cups KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal

Directions

  1. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in vanilla. Stir in KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal until well coated.
  3. Using 1/3 cup measure, shape mixture into egg shapes. Decorate as desired. Best if served same day.

  • Stove Top Method:
  • Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Follow steps 2 and 3 above.
