You can't get much easier than this! I'm usually not a huge fan of frozen meatballs, but these Johnsonville meatballs were very good and perfect for a weeknight meal!

I agree with the other reviews here that this is a very easy recipe to follow and to make. If you have a hungry family and not a lot of time to make dinner then this recipe is for you. Here are my two issues with this ... it lacks flavor and the texture is spongy. I have tried various other frozen meatballs in the past and these rank up with the better ones but they still need more flavor. You have the option to microwave, bake, or simmer them in your sauce. I chose to simmer them and the turned out okay. The texture of every frozen meatball I have tried seem to all be the same. For some reason nobody can seem to get a "homemade" texture in a frozen meatball.

Yes, this is a simple recipe, but it's delicious and a real time saver. I usually make beef meatballs, but these sausage meatballs were great. I used my own homemade marinara sauce in place of a pre-made jar of sauce. I put a whole bag of Johnsonville Italian Sausage Meatballs into my slow cooker, covered with the sauce and set to low for 6 hours while I was busy doing other things. When it was time to eat, I only had to quickly boil some spaghetti and broil some garlic bread for a quick and very satisfying meal. I served this for a quick dinner for out of town guests after a funeral everyone remarked how good it was. If you're short on time, give this a try.

This was fast and easy, and the Johnsonville frozen meatballs were phenomenal! The only reason I gave it four stars is because I didn't think there was enough sauce in this recipe. Maybe I just like my spaghetti saucier than most, but I would double the sauce for the amount of meatballs and pasta that are in this recipe. Or, if making for four, I would probably cut the pasta and meatballs in half and use the same amount of sauce. Otherwise, it's great!

My three picky kids LOVED this recipe! "No fuss" is right - I simmered the meatballs in a covered saucepan while the water boiled for the pasta, then added the sauce & meatballs right into the drained pasta and mixed right in the large stock pot. No extra serving bowls necessary = less dishes to wash! If you'd like to crank it up a notch, you can make your own marinara from scratch, but for a quick weekday meal, this fits the ticket perfecto.
