This is a great cookie!! We love peanut butter here so i added in some Reeces peanut butter chips and I kept everything else the same. The cookies came out soft and perfect. This is now my new peanut butter cookie recipe!

These were yummy, a little brittle though. I like my cookies more chewy! anyhow, they tasted good.

I agree with many, they did not have a strong PB taste or the sweetness I usually like but the texture was very good. I ut some caramel cups in the middles of some before baking and they turned out good, the dough held them well.

Good, but not peanut buttery enough. They stay really soft though and do have a nice flavor.

My hubby loved these cookies. My first attempt @ PB cookies wasnt pretty, however, this recipe was a winner. I know I added more peanut butter (at least 1/2 cup more) and more white sugar to offset the additional peanut butter. The dough was so light and fluffy...very yummy. A great recipe that I will use over and over again.

This was disappointing. I kept to the recipe's measurements and cookie size, but they came out really small, thin, and burnt! I ended up turning my oven down to 350 and only let them cook for about 7 minutes. And then I tasted the few edible ones I had, and there was not a lot of flavor. I used Kroger brand peanut butter, so maybe a better brand would have more flavor. They were also really greasy. They weren't horrible tasting, but not comparable to my dad's (whose recipe I didn't have with me).

Cookies were great! Ate them with ice cream right out of the oven when the middle was still soft but the edges were nice and crispy. Yummmmmm.

I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. It's a good cookie, the dough is easy to handle, and the recipe actually makes more cookies than indicated by the yield. The only negative is there's not quite as much peanut butter flavor as I'd like, and if you wait for the edges to brown, the cookie is over cooked.

This recipe is great. So much better than the ones that call for shortening. I used 1/2 cup of creamy and 1/2 cup crunchy. Turned out perfect.

Did not change a thing with this recipe, but added 1/2 bag of peanut butter chips..they were gone in less than a day and made more the next day...you won't be disappointed

I followed this recipe entirely as posted. I found it to be a little greasier and more crumbly than what I was looking for, but it tasted great. Everyone who tried the cookies said they were very yummy. Next time I may try another recipe or use less butter. Letting the cookies rest on the sheet and using parchment paper helped the cookies keep their perfect shape. Update- These cookies were MUCH better after they rested a day or two. We wolfed them down then. :)

Very good, but not the best ever. Didn't spread as much as I thought it would from the consistency.

These aren't great. Lack of peanut butter taste and not very sweet. They also did not spread out. The dough had a good consistency.

There isn't a very strong peanut flavor but they are very tasty with a nice texture, soft inside and slightly crispy outside. I found the batter to be very wet when I followed the recipe so I added extra flour.

These cookies were good, but not the classic Peanut Butter Cookie I'm used to. They were much softer, and I think that because they were so soft, you couldn't taste a lot of peanut butter. I later made ones from another recipe that made them a little crunchier/chewier and those tasted more peanut butter-y. Overall though, these were good

I will use this recipe again for a traditional peanut butter cookie. I had to bake mine a bit longer to keep them from cracking while taking them off the sheet.

My husband LOVED these! Mine came out a little on the crunchy side (I know, it's all about the baking time) but personally I prefer chewy peanutbutter cookies. And for some reason I keep expecting more of a peanut-buttery taste, but I can't figure out what I'm lacking! Anyway, I rate this one 4 stars :)
