Original Recipe Yield 2 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces extra sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 ounces processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®), cubed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar pimentos, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 red chile pepper, seeded and chopped

Directions

  1. Place the Cheddar cheese, processed cheese, mayonnaise, pepper sauce, onion, Worcestershire sauce, pimentos, pecans, and red chile pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Chill overnight for flavors to blend.
