This was amazing! It only took about 10 minutes from start to finish. During the time my fiance was eating he repeated five times, "Wow, this is good!" I thought it was delicious, too. And one of the easiest things I've ever made.

This was easy, inexpensive and tasted great. I used turkey kielbasa as it is lower in fat. I also doubled the veggies and added two chipolte peppers (diced very small) for some added heat. This dish is a winner.

I am giving this 3 stars because the family liked it, but it was not authentic tasting jambalaya. There were way too many tomatoes, and it actually ended up tasting more like an Italian dish than a Cajun one.

can't beat it for a quick, healthy, filling, tasty dinner. I used lowfat smoked turkey sausage and left over cooked rice from the night before. I also used chicken broth instead of water and added extra hot sauce.

I thought this was a great weeknight recipe - one you can throw together quickly but tastes like you spent more time on it. I added 1/2 lb of shrimp and subbed beer for the water.

this is really flavorful considering how quick it was. i will probably make it again when i am in a rush for dinner but i would try chix broth instead of water next time. i definitely recommend it. dont be scared off by how easy it is. after all, you could be making hamburger helper.

This was easy to prepare, good comfort food with stuff that I had in my pantry. The only changes I made was to use a red pepper instead of green and I use regular rice instead of converted so I had to adjust the liquid. Thanks for sharing.

This is a really easy and delicious recipe. I make it all the time and the leftovers are just as good. I add cayenne pepper and extra green bell pepper but other than that wouldn't change a thing.

Wow! Surprisingly good, even though I was dubious at first. I substituted brown rice instead of instant rice, diced ham and some baby shrimp (frozen salad shrimp)instead of kielbasa, and added a 15 oz can of tomato sauce. Everyone rated this thumbs up, including my four kids! A keeper for us.

Super tasty and easy! I did not have any instant rice, so instead used regular long-grain white rice, plus 2 cups of water instead of only 1/2 cup.

This recipe was a hit with my whole family, even my picky eater! This version is mild enough for children. I substituted frozen peas for the green pepper since my kids won't eat them. I also cooked brown rice and added it at the end, omitting the extra water and minute rice. It was delicious, although next time I will saute minced garlic for the garlic powder and add shrimp for some extra punch. I would have also added more hot sauce if I were making it only for me.

Very good recipe when you don't want to spend half a day making Jambalaya (which I don't mind doing when I have the time)! The only change I made was to add 1 t. cayenne pepper instead of the hot sauce. Yummy!
