AMAZING taste and easy to make!!!! I substituted butter for shortening. I also used whole wheat flour and almond milk!

Spread flat on the pan instead of staying plump in a ball like they're supposed to (maybe because I used butter instead of shortening?) Tasted decent though.

I love this cookie... especially when the cookie is still warm and the chocolate is slightly melted.... mmm. Just made this for a party and they were a huge hit. I will make these again and again.

This is the best recipe I've found for these cookies. I would definately reccomend using mini PB cups instead of chocolate kisses. If using PB cups, be sure that you roll the dough into SLIGHTLY larger balls.

yummy yummy. I only had regular crisco so I cut back on the shortening by two tablespoons and added two tablespoons of butter. Make balls a bit smaller than one inch, when I made them bigger the chocolate kiss looked lost in the center.

hands down my favorite cookies. sometimes I don't roll the sugar on the outside to cut down a little bit on the sugar amount - but fantastic either way!!!

These are soooo good!!! I got this recipe straight off Jif's website originally, and I used to make them all the time for my graduate school classmates. The cookies are especially good with caramel Hershey's kisses. YUM!

Great peanut butter cookies ! I've made other recipies in the past that just come out flat and boring. These are nice and almost cake-like. VERY good !

I doubled the recipe. I made half the traditional way, with the chocolate kisses. For the other half, I put the ball of dough in a mini-muffin tray, pressed a peanut cup on top, and then baked. These were perfect! This is the only peanut butter blossom recipe I will use from now on! They disappeared in a flash!

This is a all time family favorite any time of the year. However, on X-mas its a must have for your cookie tray. The only thing different that my family and I prefer is we use mini muffin pans lined with the small muffin tin papers. Form the dough into small balls and bake them at the same temp. for about 8 mins. While they are baking we unrap the candies, and this is were we again do it a little different. Instead of using chocolate kiss's, we use reeses peanutbutter cups, the minitures. We then place them right into the hot baked cookies. Pushing them down so that the candy is flat with the cookie and hold it there for about 10 secs. so that it has time to melt some chocolate off the candy, thus making it the "glue" to hold the candy in. I have to make 4 batches, each batch being a double. Terrific cookie and looks festive in X-mas muffin liners and so much easier to travel that way as well...E N J O Y !!!!

These are absolutely delicious and very easy to make! These are the softest peanut butter cookies around. I prefer dark chocolate and topped my cookies with Hershey's Special Dark. The only alteration I made to the recipe was adding an additional 1/3 cup of peanut butter.

This is a great recipe. A traditional cookie I love every Christmas. I modified it slightly and came out with a yummy cookie. I add 3/4 cup peanut butter instead of just 1/2 cup. Tastes great.

This recipe was disappointing. I thought it needed more peanut butter flavor and rolling them in sugar just made them gritty. I also tried baking these on two different types of pans at different temperatures, but couldn't find a combo that resulted in a well-baked cookie. The exterior became hard upon cooling, while the very center, under the kiss, was often underdone. I think I'll try a recipe that uses butter instead of shortening next time, hoping for a softer, more flavorful cookie.

Oh my gosh these are so addictive. I really loved them just as they are but my husband just thought they were okay and needed more peanut butter flavor...I don't know, I guess it's just a matter of taste. I thought they were perfect and could stop eating the darn things. They were very quick and easy to make. I made these with my daycare kids that I take care of and it's a great baking project for kids to help out on.

I have had these before and I absolutely LOVE these cookies but I was devastated that even following the recipe to a T they came out dry and broke immediately when I took them of the cookie sheet and crumbled when I tried to add the kisses. I'll try again, maybe with less flour??
