Awesome! I made this in my bread machine with 2 teaspoons of garlic cloves and 2 tsps. of Italian Seasoning. I used the Exquisite Pizza Sauce recipe from this site and baked it in my Lodge cast iron pizza pan. What a wonderful recipe, no more take-out pizza for me ever! Thanks for posting.

We love this crust! It's our go to homemade recipe! I figure 1 batch will give us 2 14" thin crust pizzas or 1 cookie sheet tray size thick crust. I prebake it for 10 minutes then add the toppings and bake for 10-15 more minutes. I use it with "Exquisite Pizza Sauce" from AR also. Very good!

After trying many others, the family all agreed that this should be our standard. I substituted one cup of the flour with whole wheat flour, and it was still crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I added garlic powder and oregano, and pre-baked the crust for 10 minutes. Fantastic!

oh, my goodness what a wonderful pizza crust. i am not a bread baker so the fact of kneading the flour into the dough made me a bit nervous, but this is so easy to make. i baked it on a pizza stone and it yielded the most delicious crispy outside and soft inside.

My wife and I use recipe this every time we make pizza. We make one large deep dish pizza with some dough left over. We put the extra dough in a 9x9 baking pan and make breadsticks in the oven while we are spreading the dough for the pizza. Thanks for the great recipe!

I love this recipe. I have been lurking on here for months and this recipe made me join just so I could write this review. I changed nothing and cooked two pizzas in 9 inch cake pans.I realize that I could have made at least 4 of the same pizzas had I spread the dough a little thinner. All the same, Fabu thick crust pizza was my result I sliced it half way between cooking so the oils from the toppings could sink into the bottom to get that greasy pizzeria taste. This will be staple recipe in our house no more spending money at the HUT. Thank you so much for sharing.

this is my first time i make pizza and this recipe helps me produce a brilliant pizza! although i wrongly measure the water and it turns out as runny liquid after mixing, so i had to compensate with a large amount of flour (didnt measure how much as i only use my hand to add until the dough is not sticky) but nevertheless, it turns out just right! like other reviewer said, it taste like pizza hut pan pizza crust. thanks for sharing!

I love this dough & the only reason i dint give it 5 stars was b/c 'as is" its kinda bland. You will definately need to add your own spice/seasoning to it. But it was very easy to work w/ and always came out great!

It is a great crust, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Our guests loved it. We made mini-pizzas on the grill. I preheated the grill on high and rubbed the grate with veg. oil. Be sure to make each pizza just prior to tossing on the grill. They tend to become sticky when they sit. I grilled each for a couple minutes on one side. Then we took them off the grill, put (minimal) sauce and toppings on the grilled side, and placed them back on the grill to melt the cheese. Used with "Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken" recipe, also on this site.

This is the first time I have attempted to make homemade pizza crust and it came out perfectly. I did add some italian seasoning and garlic powder as suggested by others and used a 15x10 pan for one pizza, which made a yummy, thick crust. I made a couple pizzas with another batch, but it was the thick crust that got the best reviews from my family. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Wow, what a terrific crust! The best we've tried to date. The only alteration I made was subbing in 1 cup of whole wheat flour to add a healthy touch. The dough was extremely easy to work with an roll out. I got two medium thin crust pizzas out of this recipe. Made it on my pizza stone and pre-baked crust for 7 minutes on lower rack first. Brushed with olive oil to prevent sauce making the crust soggy, then topped as usual. This is a keeper! Thanks very much for sharing, Jason.

This crust was the perfect mix of crispy and chewy (just like the heading says), and it wasn't too thin or thick. I made it with the sauce from the Deep Dish Alfredo Pizza recipe from this site and added chicken. Very good!

The dough was the best I've found, and I've been looking for a while. I took one reviewer's advice and added garlic powder and pizza/Italian seasoning in with the salt and oil. This crust tastes amazing, is chewy and soft, and has a perfect slightly crunchy outer crust. This will be my crust from now on.

This pizza crust is delicious! I love making my own dough and I was really impressed by how well this dough turned out. Beware, this does make one giant pizza crust, but I like to divide the dough into two smaller pizzas. This way the dough cooks faster without the cheese overcooking. I even added some whole wheat flour to this dough and it still turned out delicious! I recommend this crust to everyone.
