I prepared the crust exactly as stated in the recipe but I think I had to add at least a cup if not a cup and a helf more flour just to get the dough out of the sticky phase. I got two crusts out of it and I really only wanted one, so you can easily cut the recipe in half. I must say though the flavor was wonderful and it baked up nicely rising beautifully in the oven and getting a nice golden brown, crispy yet still a little chewy. Thank you.

Pretty sure this is the biggest pain-in-the-butt crust I've ever dealt with. No matter how much I flipped flopped an flung it it was a struggle. On the positive side, it turned out well. No complaints =) when I asked how my brother liked, it he said it's as good as Alfy's. Whoo why thank you [[got 2 crusts, which I topped with Taco Pizza]]

This was a good pizza dough but I prefer mine to be more chewy. This was more biscuity than I would like. Thanks for posting the recipe.

This crust was so awesome. It was very fluffy and soft. Way better than anything you would get at pizza hut. This will be the only pizza crust I will ever make. Thanks so much Jason!

Absolutely fantastic! This is my pizza crust from now on. I added some Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the dough and sprinkled the pizza stone with cornmeal before baking. Who needs delivery??

Excellent crust. I like to freeze half in saran wrap (I've found it works better then wax paper). I let it rise and then punch it down and split it. One half goes right into the oven for about 15 minutes as a prebake before toppings - I've found this just makes a better crust for our taste. I use a deep dish ceramic pie dish. The other half goes right into (tightly wrapped) freezer bag and into the freezer.

i've used this recipe more than once, and it works well with different variations of flour.. it's AWESOME. So delicious, no matter if it's baked on stone or baking sheets, and everyone i've ever made the pizzas for ADORE them. So thanks for this recipe, it's easy to remember by heart now, and i never used to make pizzas at home.. i sure do now. i will NEVER order in AGAIN.

This was my very first attempt at making pizza crust, and it turned out delicious. I didn't realize making it was so easy. I'll never buy the stuff in the blue can again, I promise. :-)

This was my first attempt at homemade pizza crust and it was SO easy and delicious!! I added Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese to the flour for more flavor. I used the dough hook attachment for my KitchenAid mixer to kneed the dough-- so quick and easy! *Be careful about the temperature of the water when mixing with the yeast- I accidentally killed my yeast once because the water was too hot and it was so frustrating!*

This is FANTASTIC!! I've made it a ton of times now and love it every time! I have an el-cheapo standard pizza pan and this makes 2 crusts *that* size. I generally use one and toss the other ball of dough in the freezer to enjoy at a later date. I've never rolled the dough, I merely stretch and push it out to fit the pan, which I spray w/PAM and layer w/white corn meal. I've also used 1/2 whole wheat flour and it's just as fantastic. I do have to say, I've always had to use quite a bit more flour than the recipe calls for to get it elastic-like and non-sticky. I use my KA mixer, using my scraper paddle first, then finishing w/the dough hook.THANK YOU, Jay, for sharing your signature pizza crust; LOVE IT!

Yum! I was surprised at how easy it is too. My only change was I used 1/2 wheat and 1/2 bread flour. Now I look forward to trying the other reviewers suggestions.
