I was skeptical when I read the recipe, and when I first mixed up the sauce, it tasted very bland. After 2 hours in the fridge, though, it was WONDERFUL!! My advice: prepare sauce per recipe and don’t taste/adjust ingredients until after letting it sit for ~2 hours. I was desperately looking for a shrimp sauce recipe like the one I LOVE at our local Japanese restaurant, and I have found it!! I will be making this and stir fry often now!!
