I loved these wings! They could probably be tinkered with a little bit, but the original recipe is a great start. These wings are even good reheated in the microwave.

These are awesome, next time I will add a little less soy sauce, also I "oven fried" my wings, just tossed them in some flour (no egg), sprayed with cooking spray and baked them at 450 for about 40 min and they were very crispy. I then dipped each wing in the sauce and baked them for about another 20 min (I see no need to double the sauce as other users suggested unless you like your wings swimming in sauce) I will definetly make these again the flavour was excellent!!

I thought these wings were really good. However it did take my husband and I both to make them. My kids really liked them cuz they wernt to hot. Just make sure you dont melt the butter before you are really ready that was a mistake we made.

Loved the sticky sweetness! Since me and my friend made these for a bridal shower; the mass quantity we had to make took too long to fry with just butter so we added canola oil to speed up the process. Still turned out very yummy though; they were a big hit at the shower.

I really like this recipe but really recommend not frying the wings. I love fried food but don't fry these wings. They taste better just baked. Take your wings and season them w/ what you like... garlic salt, salt.. etc. spray with some pam and bake at 375 for 30 minutes, flip bake 20 minutes. Then add the sauce and baste often until wings are fully cooked like 20-30 minutes. Yummy!!

I have been making this recipe for several years and I just love it. The only thing wrong with this recipe is that for my taste, I have to double the sauce. We love a lot of sauce on our food. Another bad thing is, that we never have enough for the next day:-)!!

I followed as is except adding a double pinch of red pepper seeds. This is very close to General Tso with the bone. I didn't make enough and I doubled the recipe.

Oh boy, I've been re-invited to the next party! I'm one of those that tries a recipe as written the first time. Usually. I did change things very slightly here. I eliminated the egg and cut the sugar to 3/4 cup. I floured the wings in a plastic freezer bag. Refrigerate the floured wings for 45 minutes. I did everything else according to the recipe. *IMPORTANT* Baste every 6-8 minutes. Now the new. Duplicate, in a sauce pan, the exact sauce recipe that you just used on the wings. Add 2 teaspoons of cornstarch to 2 teaspoons of COLD water. Then add as much cayenne pepper as you like. The sauce will thicken perfectly. If it becomes too thick, just add a couple of tablespoons of water. The original recipe will please everyone, but you can make this as hot as you like with the dip. Enjoy!

doubled the recipe with all chicken parts. turn over once halfway thru baking. Boiled potstickers and add to finished chicken coating the potstickers with the sauce.

Used drumsticks and thigh pieces instead of wings. But it was definitely super delicious! Basted once every 6-8 minutes seemed perfect.

I love this recipe. I used chicken breasts cut into strips instead of wings, but followed the recipe the rest of the way. I get requests for this all the time now.

I added Sriracha and fresh cilantro to my recipe and it was bordering insanity GOOD! You can't go wrong with these wings and the recipe affords so much play in the end product.
