very good, basic recipe I also used white & brown sugar I didn't have any problem with bread being dry - I also mashed bananas didn't let them become mush like very ripe ones often do.

this bread was very good. But i'm always trying to cut back on sugar. I replaced one cup of sugar with 1/2 cup of liquid honey. Turned out great.

Just ordinary... I had such high hopes and followed the recipe but found it to be just mediocre.

This recipe came out great! Very moist and delicious. I added 2 eggs instead of 1 and added a little twist from the CREAMY BANANA BREAD recipe to this recipe. I mixed 2 TBSP of brown sugar, 2 tsp of cinnamon and 3/4c of chopped pecans together and only poured half of the batter into the pans. On top of the lower level of batter I poured the cinnamon/pecan mixture and then finished off pouring the remaining batter over the mixture. DELICIOUS!

I LOVE this recipe!!! I make it often, and I always have compliments. I do add a 1/2 cup brown sugar, a teaspoon of vanilla and a 1/4 cup of milk to the recipe. This is such a great bread, dense and full of banana flavor... sooooo good! I make it in a mini loaf pan and they are the perfect size for my little ones. I highly recommend this recipe!!!

My family loved this recipe. I did add 1 tsp vanilla and a little bit of brown. Not too sweet and not heavy. Yummy!

loved this. im a beginner in the kitchen so i was VERY excited when this turned out so well. Very tasty, very moist. Although i did have to turn the temp down about 50 degrees for the middle to finish at the same time as the outside. Other than that, it was great.

I just ate my first slice of this bread and it is delicious! I added a tsp of vanilla, a little cinnamon, baby food carrots & applesauce (I have to sneak in veggies for my 2 yr old!) and it turned out moist and soooo good!

I use slightly less sugar just because and it still comes out great. You'll never need another banana bread recipe!

Because I was searching for a moist very banana flavor,I read reviews from others and came up with a winner. I used 2eggs,1tsp.organic vanilla,4large organic bananas,a dash of salt and a handful of dark brown sugar. I also used organic flour and used real butter. The recipe made 2 mini loaves and 6 regular sized muffins. I had such a sweet full banana flavor and moist as moist could be. I shared a loaf with my best friend and she said:"your banana bread, its to die for!" Thank you ladies for all your input and Janine for a great basic recipe. I now have the recipe I have searched for so long!

This banana bread is amazing! I half the sugar and put in a box of instant vanilla pudding mix to help keep the bread moist. Comes out of the oven crispy outside but stays moist inside. Freezes well, but doesn't stay crispy if it's been frozen. Delicious!

Quite good! As others suggested, I baked it at 325. I also used 1/2 whole wheat flour, added 1 tsp vanilla, and 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and nutmeg. I also happened to replace half the sugar with honey, only because I had some very crystallized honey to use up, and that worked quite well. I will keep this recipe as a regular and will be eating this for breakfast tomorrow!
