WOW!!! This is soooo good!!! I just got done making this and it is fabulous--my husband even said it's better than his mom's. The only change I made was mashing the bananas and adding some cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. I also dusted the pan and top of the loaf with cinnamon and sugar. Thanks for the recipe!!

This banana bread was delicious and moist! I left out the nuts (or else my daughter wouldn't eat it) and mashed (not sliced) three bananas instead of two. It was a hit with the whole family! Can't wait to have overripe bananas to use up again!

This was a decent bread recipe, but nothing too special. I wish it would have been a little more dense and had just a bit more banana flavor (I used 2 medium-large overripe bananas). I made 2 loaves & topped the 2nd with the banana crumb muffin topping (found on this site)& it helped out the bread. However, I think I will still stick with my mom's bread recipe.

Moist and delicious!! Based on other reviewer's suggestions, I made the following changes: used room temperature butter, which I hand-mixed w/the sugars. I used 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar. I added 3/4 teaspoon to the flour mixture, as well as a 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg. I used mashed bananas (3) rather than chopped bananas. I didn't have a loaf pan, so I ended up using 2 muffin tins. Baked @ 350 degrees, for 20 mins.

This is by far the best banana nut bread I've ever had. Really moist. I also mashed the bananas instead of slicing them. My family raved over this recipe. I sprinkled cinnamon in the bottom of the loaf pan, as another reviewer suggested, and it made it perfect !

This banana bread is wonderfully moist. It is hands down the best banana bread I have ever eaten. I did follow a few reviewers suggestions by mashing up the bananas first and cutting the white sugar down by a handful and adding a handful of brown sugar. This is a must try!!!!!

I love this recipe! I made it the other morning for my coworkers and it turned out to be the best ever! I did some adjustments, however... I mashed the bananas (used three very ripe ones) and a little extra vanilla. Once I poured the batter into the pan, I added a streusel topping made with brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and butter. This gave it a crunch topping and the oats added some very yummy flavors. The girls at work said this was the best banana bread they had ever eaten! Even my macaw (who is a banana connoisseur!) loved it. I will definitely use this recipe again and again!

This was a great recipe for banana bread! I didn't have walnuts or vanilla extract on hand, so I omitted the walnuts and added cinnamon in place of the vanilla extract. Good result - my loaf pan was a bit smaller than 9x5, so my banana bread ended up darker on the outside but so far, its a hit! We'll see how long it lasts once my roommates get home!

This recipe is just about perfect just the way it is presented. I added more walnuts than called for, almost a full cup, as that's my personal taste. I also like chocolate chips in my banana bread, but I couldn't talk my mother into it!

I just made this, and all I can say is "wow!" Just like the other reviews I mashed the bananas, but made no other changes.

Great banana bread recipe! Very easy to just be able to mix everything together. I did mash the bananas instead of slicing and omitted the nuts as I don't like them.

This is super moist banana bread. We deleted the nuts just because of personal preference. This will be a new 'go to' banana bread recipe for me now!
