This is a fantastic salad!! I have made it numerous times and I always get compliments. I tried to cut down on the sugar because I started to think it was too sweet but after I began to mess with the recipe it was not as good, so I decided to just not worry and enjoy it. Thank you so much for the recipe.

Very good. I went through a spell where I was bringing this for lunch all the time and the ladies in the teacher's room had to have the recipe. I just made this a couple months ago to bring to my sister's pool party and everyone there loved it. Thank you!

So I don't understand why people rate recipes with five stars when they don't follow the ORIGINAL recipe! This is fantastic in its original form! I didn't deviate at all and I have people wanting me to make it for every party now!

I made this last night for our Canadian Thangsgiving dinner and it was a huge hit! I even sent some family members home with some of the leftover dressing @ their request. The only thing I did different was I switched the almonds for walnuts but still followed the carmelizing effect. I think next time I would use less of the sugar as I found with the cranberries it was already sweet. We had all ages from 7 to 91 and everyone said how great it was!

Just ok. I think this was published at the beginning of all of the crazes with fruit and Spinach in salads. I've definitely had better, especially when it comes to the dressing.

Excellent! To cut down calories, I toasted almonds in the oven without the butter. Used 2 Tbsp honey (warmed) instead of the sugar and used 1/4 cup olive oi. It was still very delicious and cut the calories in half!
